Kyle Richards Opened Up About How She Became Close Friends With Kesha.
The 55-year-old reality TV personality revealed how they met and explained how their friendship came about during their Amazon Live broadcast earlier this week.
While speaking to his special guest Nurse Jamie on the livestream last Tuesday, he said he met the 37-year-old Joyride singer after they started following each other on Instagram and chatting online.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who enjoyed a hike with her best friend Morgan Wade over the weekend amid ongoing romance rumors, shared that Kesha followed her first on social media.
“She followed me on Instagram and then I followed her back,” he said.

“We text each other and meet up for dinner,” the Halloween actress said.
“She’s so wonderful,” he said of his current close friend. “She’s so talented. She’s a very sweet person. So we met.”
During her livestream, Richards also praised her friend, Morgan Wade, and a song the country singer created in collaboration with Kesha.
She said: ‘(Kesha) did a song with Morgan Wade. It’s a beautiful song called Walked on Water.’
The song was released as part of Wade’s fourth studio album, Obsessed, and was also praised by Richards’ eldest daughter, Farrah Brittany Aldjufrie.
The 35-year-old reality star said she was “obsessed” with the song and congratulated the two musicians in the caption of her Instagram post on Sept. 1.
Although Richards did not specify how long she has been friends with Kesha, they were spotted together with Avril Lavigne at an Oscar viewing party hosted by the Elton John AIDS Foundation in March.

Since then, the close friends have gone on ski trips to Aspen, Colorado, and even gotten tattoos together at Richards’ home in Encino.

In July, Richards also defended her friend during a chat with TMZ When Kesha was facing body shaming online.
“I don’t get it. It’s 2024 and she’s gorgeous,” Richards said of Kesha’s negative social media comments. “And she’s even more beautiful on the inside.”
She added: “I don’t know why people keep talking about women’s bodies. It’s 2024, they have to move on.”
