Kendall Jenner celebrated her arrival at Paris Fashion Week with a bang as she headlined the L’Oreal show in the French capital on Monday night.

The 28-year-old supermodel has been noticeably absent from the catwalk during this season’s London and Milan fashion weeks, walking only at Alaia’s show in New York earlier this month.

However, Kendall proved she’s still a force to be reckoned with by slaying the catwalk alongside icons like Heidi Klum, Eva Longoria and Cara Delevingne.

The show marked Kendall’s runway debut with her new blonde locks, which she first revealed a couple of weeks ago after undergoing a hair transformation.

The Kardashian star’s display of confidence suggested blondes really do have more fun as she strutted down the catwalk in a jaw-dropping red gown.

However, despite her clear ease in front of the camera, just a few months ago Kendall confessed that she suffered from professional anxiety over the past year.

Kendall revealed she’s had a “rough two months” as she detailed her 20-year battle with anxiety in a candid new interview.

During the conversation, she opened up about her current battle with anxiety and the unique way she is tackling mental health distress in a new session with Fashion.

She explained: ‘I don’t see why I shouldn’t be honest about it. Right now in my career I feel very stable and I have a lot of hope, but I’ve had two difficult months.

“I haven’t been myself and my friends can tell. I’m sadder than usual. I’m a lot more anxious than usual. So I’m not going to sit here and act like everything’s perfect. That’s life: I’m always going to be in and out of those feelings.”

‘In past interviews, when someone asked me about my mental state, I always said, “I’m doing great right now, but this is what I’ve had to deal with.” Well, I’m in it right now.’

She continued: “For me, getting out of bed in the morning and putting one foot in front of the other is very helpful. It allows me to move around and get the blood circulating.”

“When I say I’m going through a hard time, I’m not doing those helpful things. Choosing to sit in bed and mope all day is setting myself up for failure.”

The supermodel has been an advocate for mental health and has been very open about her struggles with anxiety on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and her social media platforms for several years.

Along with depression, anxiety is one of the most common mental health disorders in the UK, affecting 8.2 million people in 2013 alone.

About 40 million adults suffer from this disease each year in the United States.

Kendall’s main goal in speaking out about how anxiety has affected her life is to help destigmatize the negative correlation that mental health issues and anxiety have in the world.

The model has been balancing her modeling career with the launch of her own business, 818 Tequila.

But despite all her recent success, Kendall said: “I have that imposter syndrome, like, ‘Wait, is all this happening to me? What did I do to deserve this?'”

“When I was young I used to say that when I was 27 I would love to have children. Now I’m over that and I feel very young. I’m enjoying my freedom without children.”
