Is it too little too late for Kamala Harris?
Days from finishing and desperate to defend herself from Donald Trump’s “electoral vault”, Saint Kamala – canonized at the convention – has come down from the mountain and plunged into the gutter.
The joy is so last summer. From her ‘great debate’ to now peddling hate, the #garbagegate, accusations and changes of opinion are hurting her deeply.
Where did it all go wrong? Well, not that misogynist Mark Cuban would have you believe, but I know a thing or two about running (and winning!) a presidential campaign.
These are the hard truths someone should have told Kamala, who has had a macabre October:
Is it too little too late for Kamala Harris? It’s days away and with Democrats desperate to fend off Donald Trump’s ‘poll vault’, here are the hard truths someone should have told Kamala…
1. Kamala, we barely know you
Between laughter and blunders, Kamala says ‘Donald Trump’ more times than inflation or immigration.
And while he reveled in “I’m not Biden” and “I’m not Trump” for months, hungry voters were left wondering: Kamala, who are you?
Now he’s relying on A-list endorsements and the Obamas for star appeal, but record numbers are too busy lining up to vote early for Trump.
2. Messy palace coup
Kamala has severely mismanaged her relationship and succession with Joe Biden.
First, she ran him over. Then she ran away from their shared history.
He forgot to mute his microphone and threw it back into the basement. So there he is, showing up to remind us that we are “trash” and that she is his right arm, his full partner in the broken border, the ruined economy, and the wars abroad.
3. Very little in common with ordinary people
For all her boasts of real-world experience, Kamala has been in government continuously for over 30 years and it shows.
He has locked up his fellow citizens for marijuana possession and jumped the line over more qualified and compelling candidates. She may have been “raised in a middle-class home,” but her so-called economic “plan” threatens others who have similar ambitions.
4. Billion dollar delusion
Money in politics distorts. You may get ambitious consultants, but not the love of voters.
Team Harris has pocketed over a billion dollars from establishment liberals and poured it into stupendously expensive political ads ($450,000 a day in the Las Vegas sphere), instead of pushing your candidate to meet the people who matter.

5. Don’t be simple, simplify!
Whether it’s the effects of late-stage Trump Derangement Syndrome or simply a lack of intellectual capacity, Kamala has overlooked all the key issues.
From too much attention to abortion to not enough attention to inflation, this shows that it is a policy without its finger on the pulse.
Trump is a complicated person with simple ideas: secure the border. End foreign wars. Reduce your taxes. Restore energy independence.
Kamala is the complete opposite: a simple person with complicated ideas. This is what he told CNN’s Anderson Cooper at a recent town hall: “I may not have the answer quickly” – you can repeat that – “because I’m going to want to look into it.”
Unfortunately, given the current state of America, voters have no time to waste or wait.
6. Personnel problems
Harris’ history of mismanagement and mistreatment of his subordinates was always going to be a problem.
Its staff turnover rate is a notorious 92 percent. He doesn’t know how to keep them or choose them.
In fact, Governor Tim Walz’s choice as his running mate was one of the worst hires in political history. This caricature of what MSNBC viewers think a Trump voter in the Midwest looks like has turned out to be lying, crying nonsense.
The most capable and competent option would have been Governor Josh Shapiro, who is a popular leader in perhaps the most important state in Kamala’s electoral path (Pennsylvania), and who is also Jewish.

7. Show more grace
In the wake of the two attempts on Trump’s life, Kamala could have made a brilliant move by taking control of the investigations into the botched assassinations.
“I don’t want him to be POTUS again, but I want him and his family to be safe.”
It would have projected magnanimity and presidential power.
Instead, and in perhaps the biggest surprise of October, Kamala 2024 has morphed into Hillary 2016, and allowed Trump 2024 to become Trump 2016, sweeping swing states, taking risks, showing up, and having a blast along the way .
Harris has lost this past month to DJT in most metrics, including media interviews (Trump and Vance have done many more, including popular podcasts), memorable moments (Trump at McDonald’s and on that epic garbage truck), and data of polls (all trending toward Trump). ).
Like Hillary Clinton, Kamala has a huge monetary advantage, beating Trump three times in September alone. And like Hillary, he has relied on paid ads and celebrities to replace the lack of connective tissue among voters who detect his inauthenticity.
In 2016, people were saying about Hillary: “Lock her up.” Now, with Kamala, it’s about “supporting her.”
