The event will benefit organizations including Girl Effect, It’s On Us, and the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV).

“For women and children to be free to develop their potential without the weight of fear, threats and trauma, it is essential that we address violence at its roots to change behavior and heal our collective culture,” said François-Henri Pinault, Salma’s husband, chairman and CEO of Kering and president of the Kering Foundation, in a statement Thursday.
