Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was involved in an awkward exchange at a press conference with a Dutch journalist who he wrongly suspected of carrying out a brutal interrogation of Jordan Henderson.
The former Liverpool captain, now at Ajax in the Netherlands, was left in hot water in a tense television interview after the 2-2 draw at home against Fortuna Sittard on March 10.
That came a few days before Aston Villa’s 4-0 defeat in the Europa Conference League, one of many low points in a disastrous season for the Amsterdam club, which sits 33 points behind the Eredivisie leaders. the PSV.

Returning to his original line of questioning, the journalist repeats: “You said you didn’t do well, can I call it a bad performance?”
“You can call it whatever you want,” Henderson says.
Ajax had managed to salvage a point against mid-table Fortuna thanks to Brian Brobbey’s late equaliser.
