In the photo below, the Still Alice star has her signature red hair pinned back with a series of bobby pins and is still wearing the Alaia leather dress.

In the fourth photo, she exudes 1940s glamor and drama in an LBD dress by Courréges, tights by the revered brand Wolford, and white satin Mary Janes by Manolo Blahnik.

The photo below shows the Academy Award winner dressed in an oversized velvet jacket and pants with a camisole under the jacket, all from Bottega Veneta.

Another photo taken by photographer Craig McDean and styled by Katie Shillingford shows Julianne sitting on a couch looking dejectedly at her hand while wearing a velvet jacket with a large, pointed white collar and a men’s tie as a belt from Maison Margiela.

In a photo of Julianne wearing a long red dress with a slit down the leg by Valentino Couture, she stands against a blood-red background that evokes images of Stephen King’s 1996 horror film Carrie, starring Sissy Spacek in the lead role.

In a more whimsical photo, the star wears a Bottega Veneta jacket and a large Schiaparelli ring with an eye, which she playfully placed over her own eye.

In another photo, Julianne wears a wool gabardine jacket and an Alaia dress that could have come straight out of a detective agency in a film noir.

And finally, one photo is a close profile of the beauty with shadows falling on her face.

Her hair is styled in a Veronica Lake style and when she looks over her shoulder it’s not clear if she was the hunted or the hunter.

Moore’s new series, Mary & George, is inspired by the true story of Mary Villiers, who molds her charismatic son, George, to seduce the King and achieve immense power.

From humble beginnings, the pair rise to wealth, titles, and great influence at the English court through intrigue and dangerous gameplay.

The stakes are high: England’s place on the world stage is threatened by a Spanish invasion and rioters take to the streets to denounce the new king.

Willing to stop at nothing and armed with ruthless political steel, Mary marries her way up the ranks, bribing politicians, colluding with criminals and working her way into the hearts of the establishment.
