Dramatic video has emerged of actor Jonathan Tucker coming to the rescue of a family whose home had been attacked by an intruder.

In Ring camera images obtained by CBS NewsIn , the Westworld alum, 42, can be seen running barefoot toward a neighbor’s house after an intruder entered the Hancock Park facility.

It was previously reported that Tucker had called 911 after observing a person in his neighborhood talking to himself and banging on doors. That man then allegedly entered a neighbor’s house, prompting Tucker to spring into action.

Tucker has been captured on video helping the family, getting his daughter out and expressing gratitude to the Los Angeles Police Department after they took the man into custody.

In the video, the man appeared to be talking to himself as he approached the front door before entering the residence. Tucker then ran in before pulling the son out of him.

At that time, a mother and three girls were inside when the individual entered.

“She saw him and said, ‘What are you doing here?'” the anonymous owner told CBS News. “He didn’t respond, he just kept walking toward her and that’s when she just yelled for my kids to come out.”

The alleged intruder had been seen knocking on other doors earlier that day, CBS reports. A neighbor reportedly alerted the homeowner to the intruder via text message.

The individual had just entered the home when the owner arrived. He then ran inside to retrieve the baby from him amid the chaos.

A second neighbor was also seen running to help.

Authorities arrived and found the intruder inside the home’s closet. A brief confrontation ensued before he was arrested.

After authorities left with the individual, Tucker could be heard yelling at authorities: ‘Thank you LAPD, we appreciate you very much!’

The owner praised Tucker and called him a “safety on the block.”

‘He patrols. He makes sure everything is under control. I think he was following it for a while: an hour or an hour and a half. “He had called the police before,” he said.

The intruder’s targets believe the man was unstable. The victims also run a mental health facility and have offered him a place to stay at their facility.

On Monday, TMZ reported that the man had been detained and placed in a 5150 warehouse.

The actor’s representatives told TMZ that he helped his neighbors because he knew he would have liked someone to do the same for his own family. The actor also reportedly called the police the real heroes of the situation.

Tucker previously said Los Angeles Magazine of the incident: ‘If you want a date, call the LAPD because those guys are the real heroes. “They risk their lives every day several times a day.”

An accomplished actor, Tucker’s impressive resume includes roles in Westworld, The Mantawauk Caves, Snowfall, and the 2019 film Charlie’s Angels.

Tucker has been married to producer Tara Ahamed Tucker since 2012 and they welcomed Hayes twins Taj Tucker and India Moss Tucker in 2019.

Jonathan announced the happy news to Entertainment tonight at that moment and gushed, “We can’t believe our good luck.”
