Jonathan, who also shares Harvey, 29, and Honey, 26, with wife Jane Goldman, spoke on Good Morning Britain.

She explained: ‘One of our children is unwell… he has fibromyalgia, which is quite debilitating. She is back home with us and we are taking care of her.

“My daughter, we thought she had Long Covid but we found out she had fibromyalgia, so we want to be aware of that and not make so much noise when she’s upstairs.”

Jonathan’s daughter Betty previously shared the news about his diagnosis on Instagram, writing: ‘Fibromyalgia? I hardly know her. This is me letting you know that I received a fibromyalgia diagnosis.

‘Shout out to the four people who said they thought I had fibro, turns out they were right. There are always a lot of strange feelings that come with a new diagnosis, but this one generally feels like a relief.

WHAT IS FIBROMYALGIA?

Fibromyalgia is a chronic disease defined by widespread pain and fatigue.

It affects up to 2.7 percent of people worldwide, and studies suggest that three women suffer from it for every man.

Fibromyalgia is often caused by trauma, such as a car accident or childbirth, as well as infections. It is not clear why this occurs.

The discomfort tends to feel like pain and burning from head to toe.

And tiredness ranges from feeling sleepy to the exhaustion of having the flu.

The seriously ill are often unable to work or socialize.

The pain may be worse at some times than at others and may change location, such as becoming more intense in the parts of the body that are used the most.

Other symptoms may include headaches; IBS; diarrhea or constipation; poor concentration; dizziness; Allergies and sensitivity to stimuli, such as light or heat.

Studies suggest that the average patient waits five years to be diagnosed, which is believed to be because x-rays and other medical tests fail to detect the condition.

It is generally defined as pain that lasts more than three months and affects 11 or more of the 18 tender points when pressed.

The treatment aims to relieve pain and help you sleep.
