‘This was a challenging role, very challenging to immerse yourself in this material and become this person and do the dialect work and also the emotional nature of these scenes. It’s also very special to have that connection even though this role was very difficult. But when you feel that personal connection, the way you get into the character is very emotional and very immersive.”
