Jodie Turner-Smith has broken her silence about her ex-husband Joshua Jackson’s new romance with Lupita Nyong’o.
The 37-year-old British actress shared her thoughts in a new interview with The cut on Friday.
“Good for them,” Jodie said. ‘We need happiness to be able to co-parent peacefully. “I’m trying to get us to the level of Gwyneth (Paltrow) and Chris Martin.”
The former couple shares four-year-old daughter Juno Rose Diana Jackson, who was born in April 2020.
“I really hope that they are happy and that it benefits us as a family,” the Acolyte star said, putting her daughter first.

Actress Anne Boleyn went on to explain what co-parenting with Joshua is like and how she has adapted to life as a single mother.
“I just have to do everything I can to make Juno win and peacefully parent someone I once loved dearly,” he told the outlet.
‘What is needed now is peace. Grace is what is needed now. Love, empathy, compassion. “I am trying to be all those things and have faith that when I am all those things, I will see them reflected in me,” she concluded.
Joshua and Jodie were married since 2019 and separated indefinitely in 2023.
Jodie cited “irreconcilable differences” in her October 2023 divorce filing, as she attempted to walk away from the “unhealthy” marriage.
Sources told DailyMail.com at the time that Joshua had been left “heartbroken” by the split.
But just weeks later, the Fringe actor, 45, confirmed his romance with Lupita, 40. They were photographed holding hands in public.
Giving rare insight into the demise of her relationship with Joshua, Jodie previously told Sunday Times Style: “Sometimes the things we really want to work just don’t end up working.” And that’s fine.
‘The most important thing is that you choose what is healthiest for you and your family and definitely for your children. There are so many different moments in our lives where we look at ourselves and say, ‘Who am I and am I being true to that?’

‘If the answer is no, then action needs to be taken because I think there are visible scars from staying in places that are not good for us.
‘And they don’t just affect us, they affect everyone around us. I don’t think it’s a failure. We obviously had such a beautiful time together. And now it’s time for a new moment for both of us,’ she explained.
“The bravest thing in the world is to recognize when something is not working and take action, and I always want to set that example for my daughter,” he said bluntly.
‘The big takeaway is that it’s about as much love and joy as ever. “It’s just about taking a step forward towards a better life for everyone involved,” Jodie said.
