Jennifer Lopez has landed a new Netflix series amid growing rumors that she will soon split from husband Ben Affleck.
The actress, 54, who came under fire for her Amazon Prime series The Greatest Love Story Never Told about her on-again, off-again romance with Affleck, 51, has struck a new deal with the streamer through her Nuyorican company to adapt Emily’s novel Happy Place. Enrique.
Deadline reports that plans to adapt the novel “as a series are underway” and that producers and streaming executives are currently meeting with the writers.

López will act as one of the producers of the series along with Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Benny Medina.
Lopez’s visual film, This is Me Now… A Love Story, was famously called “insane” and “an over-the-top fan delight” by critics.
Her appearance in the documentary has caused some fans to label her “out of touch” and “delusional.” In one widely shared moment, J Lo plays with her hair in the mirror as she reminisces about her childhood in the Bronx, a famous working-class neighborhood in New York.

An industry insider claimed the pop star has reached her wits’ end and no longer feels she can do “more” to save the relationship.
