The show, created by Snowman Productions and produced by Endemol Shine Australia, the team behind Married At First Sight, promises to deliver plenty of drama and romance.

Stranded on ‘Honeymoon Island,’ 12 singles who have exhausted all dating options at home will embark on a remote dating journey like no other.

The format of the show can only be described as unconventional.

After a speed dating event, couples will be matched and married on the spot.

They will then be taken to a desert island, where they will spend 21 days together dressed only in their wedding attire.

This unique setup is designed to test couples’ compatibility in the most extreme conditions.

The series is already a huge hit in Belgium and Channel Seven is excited to bring it to Australian shores.

Seven head of programming Angus Ross said in a statement that the network was confident viewers would fall in love with the new franchise.
