ITV has axed two of its newest comedy shows, each of which only had the chance to air one series.
The broadcaster announced that Deep Fake Neighbor, which aired in January 2023, and Significant Other, which aired in June, have been cancelled.
Deep Fake Neighbor Wars used deep fake technology to turn the UK’s best New Impressionists into the world’s most famous celebrities and entangle them in petty neighbor disputes.
The Couple was a comedy-drama that followed troubled neighbors Anna (Katherine Parkinson) and Sam (Youssef Kerkour) who slowly fall in love.
An ITV spokesperson told MailOnline: ‘There are no plans for new episodes of Deep Fake Neighbor Wars.

“The full series will remain on ITVX for everyone to enjoy and will sit alongside many other comedies on the streamer.”
They continued: ‘Significant Other was a great addition to the comedy season on ITVX last year, but sadly will not be returning for a second series. “We would like to thank the cast and crew for bringing the show to our screens.”
It comes after ITV axed children’s channel CITV, Gino D’Acampo’s Gino’s Cooking Up Love and The Masked Singer spin-off The Masked Dancer.
Hosted by Joel Dommet, the dance competition saw celebrities hide their identities as they took to the stage to perform dance routines, and viewers and judges had to guess who was behind the mask.
It began airing in 2021 and enjoyed two series before being officially canceled in 2023 after its slot was changed to the Rugby World Cup.
Two celebrity-starring game shows were also axed toward the end of 2023 in a schedule shakeup.
They were Sitting On A Fortune, presented by Gary Lineker, 62, and Moneyball, presented by Ian Wright, 59.
Both game shows, with huge prizes, lasted just two seasons before ITV bosses finally decided to pull the plug.
ITV confirmed to MailOnline that there are “no current plans for a third series” for either.
However, viewers have to look forward to the second season of Alan Carr’s comedy Changing Ends this summer, with the entire cast returning.
Also coming is Piglets, a comedy set in a police training school, and it’s from the team behind The Green Wing.
Significant Other, a comedy-drama following troubled neighbors Anna (Katherine Parkinson) and Sam (Youssef Kerkour) who slowly fall in love, has also been axed.
