Alison Hammond has revealed she will release her debut novel later this year, which is based on a TV star’s relationship.
The This Morning presenter, 49, took to social media to reveal that romantic comedy novel Bombshell is due to hit the shelves on November 7.
The story follows a character named Madison, who has given up her own dreams to support the career of her husband, a television heartthrob.
The novel may be a look at Alison’s own relationships; authors often draw on their own experiences when writing.
Alison began dating Russian masseur David Putman, 26, after booking him a £150 massage and the pair reportedly hit it off and are said to be “happier than ever”.

In a video posted to her Instagram Story, Alison said: ‘Hi everyone, I have some fantastic news for you.
“I’m publishing a new book. Yes! It’s coming out in November, in the fall. It’s absolutely fantastic.”
She continued: ‘My character is called Madison and she’s married to a TV hunk who’s absolutely gorgeous.
‘Anyway, he drops a huge bomb on Madison that turns her life upside down.
“She’s given up so much for her kids, for her career, it’s time to get her own self-worth back. I’m not going to tell you more, but it’s great.”
Alison’s co-presenter on This Morning, Dermot O’Leary, congratulated her on her new project, commenting: “About time!”
Meanwhile, last month it was revealed that the BBC wanted the former Big Brother star to host a new travel show.
Alison, who worked as a travel agent before finding fame on television, is said to have been offered the chance to host Florida Unpacked, a show in which she would explore the Sunshine State.
The novel may be a look at Alison’s own relationships; authors often draw on their own experiences when putting pen to paper (pictured with David).
This comes after Alison broke her silence after she sparked engagement rumours when she was spotted wearing a giant diamond ring on her ring finger during an episode of This Morning.
Although the ring looked quite striking, the presenter insisted it was just something cheap from Primark as she was shocked by the engagement rumours.
A source close to the show told The Sun: “This is an ongoing nightmare for ITV as they regard Alison as one of their biggest stars but she is increasingly working for their rivals.”
It is thought BBC bosses could even air the programme in the same time slot as ITV’s regular daytime show This Morning.
The source added: ‘The travel show is the latest tempting offer she has accepted, and BBC executives are delighted to be able to compete with ‘This Morning’.
“This could lead to a situation where Alison could be seen presenting the daytime magazine show on ITV and at the same time on BBC One.”

During the episode, Alison and Dermot O’Leary sat down for the showbiz headlines, and she glanced at her iPad and exclaimed: “Oh my god, apparently I’m engaged!”
To debunk the rumours, she confirmed that David has not yet popped the question and explained that she had put the ring on the wrong finger.
“Oh, I put it on the wrong finger,” she said in surprise, “let me change it to stop these rumors.”
Although the ring looked quite striking, the presenter insisted it was just something cheap from Primark as she was shocked by the engagement rumours.
A little nervously, she added: “It’s just a cheap ring from Primark. It’s pretty, isn’t it? Let’s change it because we don’t want those rumours!”
Seeing the funny side, she laughed alongside Dermot and Will Best, as Will joked that he had been planning to pop the question.
The couple’s relationship first sparked earlier this year despite their 23-year age gap, which is said to have caused an issue with David’s mother.
David is head over heels for the TV presenter and is said to be ignoring his mother Olga’s advice to end things due to the age difference and the fame Alison has brought to her son.
Olga is said to have been calling her son every day to ask him to break up with Alison, but David has firmly turned his back on her advice.
A source said Sun:David is happy with his relationship, so nothing his mother says will affect him.
‘She feels uncomfortable because her son is with someone who has much more financial power than him. Olga’s traditional values don’t fit well with their relationship.
Alison spoke about their relationship for the first time earlier this month when she confirmed that David even has the stamp of approval from her son Aiden (pictured, June 2024).
“She has told him in no uncertain terms that he must end this relationship. Olga raised her children in the Orthodox Church. This type of relationship does not fit with her beliefs.
‘She calls her son almost every day and tells him how unhappy she feels.’
Alison spoke about their relationship for the first time earlier this month when she confirmed that David even has her son Aiden’s stamp of approval.
She shares Aiden with her ex-husband Noureddine Boufaied, and spoke about her views on dating in Podcast by Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe The hell of being a parent.
At 19, Aiden is just a few years younger than his new boyfriend David.
Explaining the difficulties of dating as a mother, Alison confessed: “It’s harder, now that he’s older he talks more. He’ll want to know who that person is and he’ll want to get to know them.
-It’s much more difficult. He’ll want to know that this guy is treating me well.
“The person I’m dating at the moment is on Instagram and is like ‘yeah I like it, it’s not too cheeky’. Aiden is on there.”
Speaking about the first time David and her son met, she revealed: ‘When they actually met, she really liked him, she really thought he was charming, so that’s nice.
‘Thank God for that! Because normally Aiden hates anyone I date, he literally has no interest.
“And at that moment you know that if Aiden doesn’t like them, this isn’t going to work. There are times when I think, ‘Who’s the father here? ‘”
“But it’s nice because I always feel like there’s someone there looking out for me and protecting me.”
Originally from Krasnodar, Russia, David left the country for the UK in December 2022 to escape the frontlines following President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
