Brittany Renner has sparked backlash after claiming she has “no idea how” she’s going to care for her three-year-old son, PJ Jr., in a recent social media post.
The influencer, who has more than 4.6 million followers on Instagram, came under fire for sharing her fears about how she will care for her little one, whom she shares with Dallas Mavericks star PJ Washington.
On Saturday, the 32-year-old internet personality spoke publicly about her financial troubles in an Instagram video, in which she wore a khimar, a piece of cloth worn by Muslim women that covers the head, neck and shoulders.
“I’ve been through a lot of internal changes and as a result my external world has completely fallen apart,” Renner told her followers. “I have no idea where I’m going to live or how I’m going to support my son.”
Despite being vocal about her concerns, the mother of one child insisted her faith in Allah is helping her cope.

“Allah has moved mountains for me and I trust this will be no different,” he said.
Renner went on to compare herself to Alice in Wonderland when she confessed to feeling like Alice after eating the cookie that made her grow too big to fit inside her house.
“I’m no longer a good fit for where I am,” she said. “The facade is fading, alhamdulillah, and I’m at a point where I don’t want anything that doesn’t have my name on it. Take it down. It didn’t serve any purpose here.”
Still, he insisted that he does not want “one cent more than what I am supposed to have.”
“I can do a lot with a little,” he concluded.
After sharing her emotional update about feeling “incredibly uncertain” about her future, social media users expressed their outrage.
“Slow down your lifestyle and live a little,” one suggested.
Another scoffed: “There are women who don’t get child support, who work two jobs and still don’t know how they’re going to pay rent, while you’re getting $5,000 a month and sitting in a Benz.”

“You’re crying about the wrong tax bracket, girl. Bye,” wrote a third.
Last year, Renner confirmed that he received $2,500 a month in child support while appearing on the Tonight’s Conversation podcast, according to Yahoo! News.
Renner recently converted to Islam and has been seen wearing a hijab in her most recent posts.
The influencer, who has previously dressed very provocatively in her social media posts, said earlier this month that she trusts in “signs” from the universe.
“I’m going to enjoy every moment of this ride of mine,” he said.
Despite explaining that she was going through a difficult time, the mother of one boy insisted that her faith in Allah is helping her cope.

Still, Renner admitted she wasn’t sure how her new look would work with her contractual obligations, given that she is paid to model clothes from stores marketed as “sexy,” such as Fashion Nova.
She also said she is considering getting Botox in her armpits to prevent sweating because she has been struggling to maintain a modest appearance amid the hot weather.
Renner rose to fame after her relationship with Washington and made headlines for a series of scandalous statements.
She and NBA star Washington, 25, began dating sometime in 2020 before splitting the following year, with the NBA player writing a vague tweet about someone “faking it the whole time.”

The couple share one son, Renner, who has been linked in the past to James Harden, Lil Uzi Vert and a host of other celebrities.
Renner told Akademiks that she and Washington met when she was 26, while he was playing at the University of Kentucky.
Washington has earned more than $17 million to date in his professional career and signed a three-year, $48 million extension with the Hornets last summer.
Renner was also in the news last year when she was spotted having dinner with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal in Beverly Hills.

The couple was caught by paparazzi entering a restaurant, where they dined together and were seen laughing and joking.
While the Internet was in an uproar after the video and photos of the two were leaked, TMZ received word that there was “nothing romantic” between the couple.
