Hugh Jackman shared a video of an Australian man who lost a bet and had to get his name tattooed on his butt.

Footballer Aaron Woods made the bet with Hugh’s childhood friend Gus Worland, who co-hosts the radio show The Rush Hour with Gus & Jude.

The couple had placed a bet that the Roosters would win a football match earlier in the week – if the Roosters won, Woods had to get the tattoo.

In fact, they won and Woods made good on his bet, heading to Bondi Ink Tattoo in Bondi Beach, Sydney, on Monday to get the ink.

Worland came over, laughing at how hairy Woods’ butt was, and the process of shaving it caused hilarity.

The inking was documented for the radio show’s Instagram page and Woods showed off the result at the end.

Hugh captioned the video with a tears of joy emoji.

Worland and Jackman are best friends, and Jackman happily posted the video to his own Instagram Stories on Monday.

Australian actor Hugh, 55, was disappointed when a trip Down Under couldn’t be fitted into his busy press schedule for Marvel’s latest action film.

But that didn’t stop him from hilariously surprising his 50-year-old best friend Worland live on his Triple M and LiSTNR radio show, The Rush Hour, on Friday.

Gus and his co-host, former AFL star Jude Bolton, opened the airwaves for listener calls, only for Wolverine star Hugh to chime in from the other end of the line.

The radio hosts roared with laughter when Hugh answered the call and joked that the only way he could talk to Gus was to call him at his workplace.

Hugh was then asked who his best friend really is, as he and co-star Ryan, 47, have been known to declare themselves best friends during their promotional tour.

To reassure Gus, Hugh insisted: “I may say on camera that we’re best friends, but you know I don’t mean it.”

To which Gus replied: “I hope you don’t mean that. I’m getting a little jealous, to be honest.”

Hugh then got involved, insisting that he had only become friends with Ryan because of his impressive bank balance.

He joked: “Gussy, I’m not shallow at all, but have you seen how much money Ryan has? It’s like a whole other league!”

Hugh and Gus have been close friends since they met at the age of five, when they were paired up by their teacher at Pymble Public School in the 1970s.

Their friendship has spanned more than five decades and the pair often enjoy nights out and vacations together.
