Adele is reportedly planning to return to London after wrapping up her Las Vegas residency later this year.

The singer, 36, and her current husband Rich Paul, 42, bought Sylvester Stallone’s $58 million Beverley Hills mansion two years ago but tore down most of it in a massive rebuild.

The singer moved to Los Angeles in 2016 and previously said she did so to get more for her money.

But eight years later and with no sign of renovations to her Rocky mansion being completed anytime soon, has Adele given up on the American dream for now?

Adele’s assistant Rose Moon returned to the UK a few weeks ago and is currently organising the singer’s return as well. Sun reported Thursday.

Adele is reportedly planning to return to London after wrapping up her Las Vegas residency later this year.

On the megastar’s return home, a source said: “It’s all part of a larger homecoming and once her Vegas shows are over in November, she has said she will be back.

“Rose has already moved back to the UK and Adele will follow. Just like football, it looks like Adele is coming home.”

The source said Adele is “British through and through,” which has inspired her desire to return to her roots.

Adele is currently on a break from performing to recharge before returning to the United States to kick off her Vegas Weekends With Adele show in October.

From plans to have a baby to talk of UK gigs and supporting England at the Euros this week, we take a look at all the signs the singer is planning a return to her roots…

Plans for babies

Adele, who confirmed she married Rich Paul late last year, said: 'Once I'm done with all my obligations and all my shows, I want to have a baby.'

Adele already has an 11-year-old son, Angelo, with ex-husband Simon Konecki, but told fans while on stage at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in May that she was hoping to have a daughter.

The singer, who secretly married Rich late last year, said: ‘Once I’m done with all my obligations and all my shows, I want to have a baby.

“I want a girl because I already have a boy. I feel like I could be the person I love most in the world, but also probably the person I hate most in the world; that’s what I feel is going to happen.

“She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she?”

The Rolling In The Deep singer joked that the little girl will end up being a “bossy queen” because of the parents she will have.

She said, ‘With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she’s going to be a bossy little queen, isn’t she?’

When Simon and Adele split in 2019, the couple remained neighbors so they could keep things as normal as possible for their son.

At the time, when they first started talking about splitting up, she said: “In the end, I thought, ‘We’re not going to do it. You’ve bought the house across the street from me. Nothing changes for Angelo.'”

Concerts in the UK

Earlier this year, it was reported that Adele was in early talks for a UK concert in 2024 that could earn the singer £10 million a night. The singer's last UK performance was in 2022 (pictured)

Earlier this year, it was reported that Adele was in early talks for a UK concert in 2024 that could earn the singer £10million a night after her Las Vegas residency rekindled her love of performing.

The hit singer is said to have been offered numerous venues for her homecoming show, including the 62,000-capacity Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

A source told The Sun in January: “Her stage fright has subsided, her voice is really strong and she is ready to do some gigs again in Europe.”

‘Offers have been pouring in. She decides how many concerts she wants to do, although we don’t expect a full world tour.’

Adele last performed in the UK in 2022, when she headlined two nights at BST in London’s Hyde Park to an audience of 65,000.

Football fan Adele was seen passionately shouting at the rowdy England crowd to “shut up!” just before Harry Kane took his penalty during the Three Lions’ Euro semi-final on Wednesday night.

The singer travelled to Dortmund, Germany, to watch the team take on the Netherlands in their epic 2-1 win and was seen fully immersed in the spirit of the match.

A hilarious video shared on Twitter shows the tense moment just before Kane took his shot on goal following the controversial penalty.

And as some excited fans screamed behind her, she quickly turned around and told them to shut up.

While she now has a glamorous lifestyle living in Los Angeles, far from her Tottenham roots, and often rubs shoulders with all of her famous friends, her Cockney accent clearly shone through at the time.

Fans were quick to react to the hilarious moment, saying: “SHATAPP! We love Adele here!”

‘I love her, she’s so brutally honest!’, ‘She was so real here’, ‘This is ICONIC’, ‘Let the Queen enjoy the game!’

Climate

Last year, Adele revealed the reason why she did not want to return to the UK.

Adele explained why to The Hollywood Reporter: “I suffer from very bad seasonal depression, so the weather suits me. It’s strange sometimes, because I’m very British.”

“Since it’s a little harder for me to go out now, what I like most about Los Angeles is that everyone goes to each other’s houses. I like that.”

Houses

Adele previously told British Vogue magazine that she invested in three mansions in Beverly Hills to get more value for her money.

“The type of house I have in LA I could never afford to buy in London. Never,” the Tottenham native told the outlet.

Adele said she had “looked at houses” in London before making the decision to move to the United States in 2016.

“It’s hundreds of millions of pounds,” he said. “I don’t have that much money. I’d throw up.”

The actor had been planning to take the crockery with him, when Adele insisted that she wanted him to keep the property.

Speaking to the Wall Street Journal, he said: “She said, ‘There will be no deal. That will ruin the whole deal.’ She wanted the statue.”

Adele is now demolishing the sprawling mansion and making it her own in a major renovation project.

Construction images show the 18,587-square-foot home has been completely remodeled, two years after the star purchased the property with husband Rich Paul.

Adele, who has yet to move into the property two years after purchasing it, is reportedly paying “millions” for the extensive list of renovations, which include adding a five-car garage and a fire-resistant roof.

The singer appears to have extended the massive property, which already boasted eight bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, skyward to build a garage that can fit several luxury vehicles.
