Hannah Waddingham ignores the drizzle in a floral print dress as she joins the stylish Lauren Silverman on day three of Wimbledon

The third day of Wimbledon began in cloudy weather at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in southwest London.

But the rainy weather didn’t stop Hannah Waddingham, who dazzled in a bright summer dress as she took to the action on Centre Court.

The 49-year-old Ted Lasso star looked gorgeous in a plunging purple dress, featuring a bold floral print and a halterneck style that showed off her toned arms.

Hannah sported striking white sunglasses and sandals as she posed dramatically in front of the VIP entrance.

Meanwhile, Lauren Silverman stayed true to her white tennis style and looked chic in a midi dress with a black belt cinched around her waist.

It’s a sporting week ahead for Hannah, who will perform the National Anthem at the Formula 1 Qatar Airways 2024 British Grand Prix on Sunday.

The stage and screen star will take to the stage to sing God Save the King at the famous Silverstone racecourse.

In a statement released last week, Hannah said of her upcoming big moment: “It’s the biggest ‘pinch me’ moment to perform the National Anthem before this year’s race. I feel deeply privileged.

The atmosphere and excitement at Silverstone during last year’s British Grand Prix was electrifying and I can’t wait to be part of it again. I’m immensely proud of my British roots and will remember this honour for the rest of my life.

The Emmy winner also added her support to British drivers Lewis Hamilton, George Russell and Lando Norris.

She said: “Of course I’ll be cheering on our British drivers – the mighty Lewis, George and Lando… Come on lads! Let’s do this!”
