OBS Studio can be a recording candidate, but selecting a desktop recorder alone does not establish your sharing, storage or team-permission workflow. Compare the finished process rather than a single feature checkbox.
Account for total workflow cost
Count the people who need to create recordings, not just viewers. Check retention, storage and exports separately from recording length. Unknown pricing stays unknown in the finder.
A useful final check
Open the replacement link in a signed-out browser on another device. Check permissions, playback, captions and download behavior, then ask a colleague to repeat the task.
