Stephen Webb has revealed that he “simply stopped working” on his marriage to Daniel Lustig, leading to their split after six years of marriage.
The Gogglebox star, 53, finalised her divorce from Daniel, 43, earlier this year and has now signed up to appear on Celebs Go Dating.
But he has admitted in the wake of the split that the couple simply “pulled the plug” on their relationship six years after tying the knot – and will speak about it on the E4 reality show.
He said The sun: ‘We touched on it in the series. We both zoned out and stopped working on it.
‘The longer you leave it, the more it will deteriorate to a point where there is no turning back.

‘I firmly believe that life is about change and now I’m just looking forward to the next chapter of my life.
The TV star, who recently revealed why he quit the Channel 4 soap that made him famous, said he and Daniel had “an amazing time” during their 11 years together but he is “looking forward” to starting a new life.
Barber Daniel previously appeared on the My dirty laundry podcast in June, revealing that he and Stephen had secretly split ten months earlier but were still living together.
Speaking about why they ended things, she said: ‘We had a really good run. It was really good for a long time and then it fizzled out, and then we decided it was best to end things as friends.
‘We are coworkers and partners at work as well and the basis of our relationship has always been friendship as well.
“We get along better now than when we were together, so it’s cool. I know a lot of people probably can’t understand it, but it’s worked for us.”
The first episode of Celebs Go Dating will arrive on E4 on Monday 19 August, with plenty of drama promised in the release date announcement trailer.
In April, Stephen announced he and husband Daniel (pictured) were divorcing after six years of marriage, and now the star is trying to find love again on Celebs Go Dating.
Stephen and Daniel remain close and run two hair salons together. While Stephen appears on Celebs Go Dating, Daniel said he isn’t ready to meet someone else, but is getting closer.
The new series will air from Monday to Thursday at the same time weekly.
The show’s official Instagram shared a teaser and posted the caption: “IT’S BACK! New celebrities, new dates, new friendships, and LOTS of drama!”
The new series of Celebs Go Dating wrapped filming in July as fans eagerly await Lauryn Goodman’s starring role.
Lauryn will join Love Island’s Chris Taylor, Coronation Street’s Helen Flanagan, singer Jamelia, Made In Chelsea’s Tristan Phipps and Married At First Sight’s Ella Morgan on the show.
