Foo Fighters are reportedly “going on hiatus” while Dave Grohl works to “earn his family’s trust” amid his scandal.
The frontman, 55, shocked his fans earlier this month when he confessed to cheating on his wife of 21 years, Jordyn Blum, and welcoming a baby girl with an as-yet-unnamed woman.
Following the news, the band canceled an upcoming concert at the Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut, this weekend.
Now, reports suggest they will be taking a break as they navigate the aftermath of “a turbulent few years.”
A source said the sun: “The band needs time to be with their families and focus on regrouping.”

They added: “It’s been a turbulent few years, with the loss of his best friend, drummer Taylor Hawkins, the death of Dave’s mother and now the birth of his new son.”
‘He wants to be home and focus on regaining the trust of his family. Being on tour isn’t the best thing for any of them right now. It seems like a pause is best for them collectively.
MailOnline has contacted Foo Fighters’ representative for comment.
The band was set to perform for the first time since the scandal broke at the Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut, this weekend, but abruptly pulled out on Thursday.
A statement read: ‘Foo Fighters will no longer appear at this weekend’s Soundside Music Festival.
“See the festival website for more information.”
Dave announced in a statement on social media on September 10 that he had welcomed a daughter and vowed to try to “regain (the) trust” of his wife and three daughters.

“I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”

While little is known publicly about Blum, People reported that she once appeared on the cover of Teen, after being discovered in a supermarket when she was 12 years old.
She was reportedly working as a producer at MTV when she met the leader.
But Grohl told Elle in 2007 that he wasn’t ready for a serious relationship when they met and stopped calling Blum after a few dates.
