Kayla Itsines has slammed children’s play centres after suffering a nasty eye infection following a visit.
The fitness influencer and personal trainer, 33, hit the kids’ hotspot during the school holidays with her five-year-old daughter Arna, who she shares with ex-boyfriend Tobi Pearce.
But on Monday, Kayla took to social media to reveal to her 15.8 million followers that she had contracted conjunctivitis, also known as “pink eye.”
“Well… somehow I ended up with pink eye,” she captioned her post, which documented Arna having a fun time at the play center.
‘I’m better now, but who will tell Arna that we will never go again?’
“I recently took the kids to a play centre during their school break (because they were begging me to go) and EVERYONE told me not to because apparently they are a breeding ground for gastroenteritis and conjunctivitis,” Kayla added.
‘I even did some research to find a place that showed videos of how they clean everything daily.’
Kayla, her husband Jae Woodroffe and their son Jax officially moved from Adelaide to the Gold Coast earlier this year after months of speculation.

Kayla and Jae tied the knot in December of last year after a two-year engagement, but their fairytale romance first blossomed under unusual circumstances.
From reuniting just months after leaving their respective exes to Kayla’s subsequent fight with Jae’s ex-girlfriend, things weren’t always so simple.
Kayla debuted her relationship with personal trainer Jae on September 26, 2021, when the pair were spotted showing affection outside a kebab shop in Adelaide.
The sighting came just weeks after Kayla split from her ex-boyfriend, a videographer known simply as ‘Mitch G’.

Earlier that month, ‘Mitch G’ was photographed packing his personal belongings into a moving truck outside Kayla’s home, confirming that their brief relationship was over.
Coincidentally, Jae also moved on with Kayla shortly after splitting from his long-time ex-girlfriend, Lauren Benotti, who was also close friends with Kayla.
Jae and Lauren are believed to have started dating in 2016, as indicated by the loving Instagram photos posted by Lauren at the time.
The last photos of the former couple together were uploaded on May 23, 2021, after a night of partying with a group of friends that included Kayla.
A group photo taken during the outing even shows Kayla, Jae and Lauren posing next to each other.
In January 2022, Kayla finally introduced Jae on her Instagram page, uploading a photo of the pair hugging along with a caption describing him as her “best friend for years and now partner.”
Kayla and Jae announced their romance four months later. Daily Mail Australia is not suggesting that either party was unfaithful.
Kayla declined to comment when contacted by Daily Mail Australia, but her spokesperson Sara Bergstrom said the “media narrative” suggesting Kayla and Lauren fell out over Jae “was false then and (remains) false now.”
Kayla and Lauren’s relationship appears to have soured and the couple no longer follows each other on Instagram.

The happy couple welcomed their first child together, a boy named Jax, in January last year, with Kayla sharing custody of her five-year-old daughter Arna with ex Tobi Pearce.
