Emmerdale’s Kris Mochrie has revealed that he and fiancé Max Parker have set a wedding date and will tie the knot in August 2025.
The soap star, 39, shared the news on her Instagram Stories after Max, 32, popped the question in a sweet beach proposal two years ago.
The handsome actors play brothers in the ITV soap, with Kris as Lee Posner and Max as Luke Posner.
On her Instagram Stories, Kris wrote alongside a wedding ring emoji: “365 days left and 365 things to do.”
Despite never sharing a scene together in Emmerdale, a friendship developed behind the scenes and then romance blossomed.

Announcing the news of their engagement in 2022, Max wrote on Instagram: ‘She deserves the world but the best thing I could do was promise her my heart. SHE SAID YES.’

The couple celebrated with champagne on the beach and shared a sweet snap of them kissing in the post.
Max also posted a short video showing him getting down on one knee with the ring, before celebrating together with a kiss and a hug.
Kris wrote in her engagement announcement: ‘The beautiful soul of my best friend asked me to marry him yesterday. I can’t begin to describe how happy I am.
‘I love him beyond words, we laugh every day and I’m so grateful that he came into my life.
‘I had no idea! But it was just perfect… I mean this movie says it all. Max had asked my mom for all the jewelry my grandmother had. Mom still had my grandmother’s locket and she had made it into the center of the engagement ring on the inside. So, so special.
‘Thanks to the work that brought us together, to our amazing family and friends. And to the incredible love that you all have shown me. I am a very lucky guy. WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!!!’

This comes after Max shared his coming out story in 2020, after confirming his romance with co-star Kris, stating: ‘I feel comfortable now knowing that I’m gay!’
Over the summer, the pair sparked relationship speculation when they enjoyed a rainy walk and shared a photo of themselves sunbathing together on Instagram.
Kris and Max met on the soap opera and although they never shared a scene together, behind the scenes a friendship developed and then romance blossomed.
Speaking about his relationship with Kris, Max revealed that Attitude Magazine that although they met on the set of Emmerdale, it wasn’t until he saw Kris on Tinder that he DM’d her.
Max said of their first meeting: ‘He was filming his last day on set… That was the first time we met. I didn’t know he was gay, but I remember thinking he was really handsome…
‘Later I thought, ‘I’ve never used Tinder, so I’ll give it a try,’ so I went on Tinder and saw him pop up and I thought, ‘Okay, this is a sign,’ so I made the first move by messaging him on Instagram…
“I didn’t know he was gay and I didn’t know he was going to like me, but then he did.”
