Dave “Hughesy” Hughes braved the cold on Sunday when he took his family to the beach on Father’s Day.
Melbourne’s chilly temperatures didn’t stop the comedian, 53, from stripping down to his shorts and going for a swim with his wife Holly and children Rafferty, 15, Sadie, 13, and Tess, 11.
The windy weather was no deterrent for the Hughes family, who were happy to spend some quality family time together on the water.
Hughesy looked relaxed as he went for a swim in dark blue and white patterned shorts.
Coming out of the water, he wrapped a peculiar blue towel decorated with dachshunds around his waist to keep warm.
Dave further flaunted his sartorial flair with a pair of trendy off-white Crocs, complete with a variety of charms attached.
He completed his Father’s Day ensemble with a Carlton AFL-style baseball cap.
His wife Holly opted for a leopard-print swimsuit before changing into a graphic T-shirt from Wrangler after her dip.

Dave seemed proud to be in the company of his family, and appeared to share a joke as they headed back to the car after the beach visit.
The family outing comes after he erupted in an on-air rant following an apparent snub at Logies.
The comedian appeared on Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick last month, where he called this year’s celebrity attendees a bunch of “losers.”
Hughesy then launched into a tirade over his snub of the invitation, exclaiming that he had hosted the event four times and had now been overlooked.

“I’ve really enjoyed doing the Logies in the past… and, lo and behold, I wasn’t invited on Sunday night. So I stayed home,” he said.
The comedian then started yelling about not receiving an invitation.
“I’ve done it four times in a row and I didn’t get an invitation. No invitation! Not even an invitation! The amount of losers in that room…” the comical speech continued.

Host Brendan Fevola then tried to reason with Dave.
‘But you don’t have any shows on TV, why would they invite you?’
But Hughesy had a response to this, saying that while he doesn’t host a show, he is omnipresent on television.
It has been a year of mixed fortunes for Dave after his Hughesy, Ed & Erin 2DayFM breakfast show sensationally came to an end last month amid soaring ratings and “commitment issues”.
‘We have really enjoyed our time together on 2DayFM Breakfast, however, due to some of our families living in different cities, we are unable to commit until 2025.
“It is with a heavy heart that we step aside so that 2DayFM can find the team to take them forward on Breakfast,” Hughsey, Ed and Erin said in a statement.
‘We are so grateful to Sydney for their support, and doubling our listenership in three years is something we are immensely proud of, and we will miss each and every one of them.’
