Dave Grohl’s two oldest daughters have closed their social media accounts after he admitted to cheating on their mother Jordyn Blum and secretly fathering a baby girl.
The Foo Fighters singer, 55, admitted to cheating on his wife in an Instagram statement on Tuesday.
Grohl and Blum, 48, met in 2001 and have been married since 2003, sharing three daughters: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.
His two oldest daughters, Violet and Harper, deleted their Instagram accounts following their father’s announcement.
“I recently became the father of a new daughter, born out of wedlock. I plan to be a loving and supportive father to her,” Grohl said.

Violet was born on April 15, 2006 in Los Angeles and has followed in her father’s footsteps as a musician, according to People.
When she was 12, Violet joined Grohl onstage to perform Adele’s “When We Were Young” at a benefit event at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals in 2018.
In April 2021, the father-daughter duo released a cover of Los Angeles punk band X’s 1980 anthem ‘Nausea.’
In June 2023, the two performed together at the Glastonbury Festival and as she took the stage, the rock star called his daughter his “favorite singer in the world.”
Violet, 18, has followed in her father’s footsteps as a musician.
Harper was born on April 17, 2009, and in his 2021 memoir, The Storyteller, Grohl described how Paul McCartney gave the little girl her first piano lesson at age five.
She eventually joined her father and older sister on stage at a 2018 charity concert singing an acoustic version of ‘The Sky Is a Neighborhood.’
Grohl’s youngest daughter with Blum, Ophelia, was born on August 1, 2014. In October 2019, the singer made a cameo on the Nick Jr. preschool series Ryan’s Mystery Playdate with Ophelia.
On Tuesday, Grohl announced that he will welcome his fourth child in September with a woman other than Blum.
