The young children of an alleged murder victim returned home for the first time since her death, only to discover it had been ransacked by heartless thieves.
Kesar Sardar, 13, and his older brother (who has not been identified) have spoken of their grief for the first time since their mother, Amarjit Sardar, was taken from them in an alleged domestic violence murder.
Police allege the children’s father, Yadwinder Singh, 44, killed his wife at their Woodhill farm in February, before running her over with a cane cutter to make it look like an accident.
He has been charged with murder and interference with her corpse, and is in custody awaiting trial.
Kesar said he couldn’t believe what had happened.

“I just didn’t believe it was real, I just hoped it was all a dream and I’d wake up,” he said. A current issue On Wednesday.
Singh is believed to have called emergency services to report his wife’s death.
In the wake of the tragedy, Detective Inspector Chris Knight said Singh’s phone and that triple-0 call were crucial to the investigation.
Her two children flew to Sydney with just a few things in a suitcase after their mother’s funeral and moved in with their aunt, Simranjit Sardar, who is now their guardian.
Kesar is more than grateful that Simranjit took them in.
“My aunt has been able to take care of two more children, my brother and me,” she told the program.
“Supporting us, making sure we’re okay and at the same time taking care of herself.”
Three months after their mother’s death, they returned to collect more belongings.
After a 10-hour trip, they heartbreakingly discovered that almost everything had been stolen from their family home.
“It was heartbreaking, I couldn’t take it,” Simranjit said.
“They went through every single drawer…every corner of this room.”
Police will allege that Singh had murdered his wife before interfering with her body to make the death look like an accident.
About $200,000 worth of property was missing, including a tractor, a trailer, a washing machine, a car and all of the children’s clothing and sentimental items.
“They probably didn’t care about anything that happened to us,” Kesar said.
His brother said: “I felt a little bad for whoever stole it, that they needed to get into such a sad place.”
Queensland Police have charged a 30-year-old Flagstone man with two counts of entering premises and committing a serious offence, as well as breaking and entering.
According to the program, police will allege that looters attacked the property after detectives finished their investigation and gathered evidence at the scene.
“Everything that was special to me just disappeared,” Kesar said.
‘[The looters] They probably didn’t even care about anything that happened to us, they just thought, ‘Oh [a] chance to make some money’.”
‘I feel terrible. Like all the things I kept so close to me, they are no longer there.
‘What am I supposed to do?’
Also missing were a dryer, a fryer, a printer, a set of drills and an angle grinder.

So far, police have been unable to recover most of his belongings.
Simranjit, who has three children, said she will do everything she can to support her nephews as they rebuild their lives.
“I’m going to support the kids as much as I can and any help is a big help to us now…groceries, gas, anything that can help raise these kids,” she said.
A GoFundMe page has also been created to help them in the short term and pursue their dreams of becoming a pilot and flight attendant in the future.
“I want to do something where I can be close to my brother too because when he was younger, he always wanted to be a pilot too,” Kesar said.
‘So when I was younger, I set the dream of being a stewardess.
“So maybe one day we can work on the same plane.”
