Australian cricket star Usman Khawaja has revealed the hilarious story behind teammate Mitch Marsh’s very rude nickname.
Khawaja, 37, and Marsh, 32, have played many Tests together for Australia, but the brave opening batsman was confused when he first heard the all-rounder referred to as ‘Titta’ instead of his commonly known nickname, ‘Bison ‘.
“I used to bat (in the Sheffield Shield) against Western Australia and Bison (Marsh) would bowl to me.” Khawaja told Backchat in a clip uploaded to TikTok.
‘All his teammates would say, “Come on, Titta.” I thought, why do they call Bison that?
Then, as footage played of Marsh’s chest moving while bowling, Khawaja answered the question.
‘He’s tried to hide it (…he even wears sports bras and GPS monitors when we train on the nets.

Both have become crucial figures for Australia’s Test team in recent years (pictured in 2023).
‘Then one day he was running and I saw boing, boing, boing (his chest).
“And I was like, ahhhh, that’s why they call him Titta.”
Marsh has been a polarizing figure for many cricket fans, but is now a key member of the Test XI, as well as Australia’s T20 captain.
He will look to guide Australia to more titles when the T20 World Cup begins on June 2, with tournament matches taking place in the Caribbean and the United States.
The Australians will have to hit the ground running, and on Friday, their bowlers were poor as the West Indies plundered 257 off 20 overs in a warm-up game between the two nations in Trinidad.
Meanwhile, cricket legend Ricky Ponting nominated star batsman Travis Head as his pick for top run-scorer in the T20 World Cup.
“I just think everything he’s done, whether it’s red ball or white ball over the last few years, has been of the highest quality,” he said.
“Right now he is playing fearless cricket.”
