Microsoft Edge PDF Reader vs PDF24 Creator

On Windows, Edge’s built-in reader is a convenient first check for viewing, annotations and supported form filling. Its documented XFA limitation may rule it out for a particular form before another feature matters. PDF24 Creator is a broader local toolkit with OCR and page operations, but adding text is still not proof of reliable paragraph editing. Choose the task rather than treating a reader and a toolkit as interchangeable editors. Save a non-sensitive sample and reopen it in the recipient’s viewer.
