CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer, 75, was seen pale and retching on camera while hosting his show, forcing the channel to abruptly cut a commercial break.
Blitzer was on air with House Oversight Committee Ranking Member Jamie Raskin (D., Md.) when he was seen swallowing uncomfortably and looking dizzy while trying to avoid vomiting.
The Situation Room host struggled to contain himself for a full minute before CNN cut off Blitzer’s broadcast and let Raskin finish his closing remarks on his own.
As Raskin continued his comments, sounds resembling vomiting could be heard in the background.

“Wolf had to walk away, he’ll be back,” he said.
However, Blitzer did not return to host the rest of the show.
CNN later said Washington Post: ‘Wolf wasn’t feeling 100 percent while anchoring Thursday night.’
Blitzer has been host of The Situation Room for 18 of the 33 years he has been associated with CNN.

Fans soon began asking about Blitzer’s health on social media and the host confirmed that he was doing better in X.
‘I’m fine! Thanks for the good wishes. See you soon in the Situation Room,’ the political presenter tweeted.
Blitzer has hosted The Situation Room for 18 of the 33 years he has been associated with CNN.
In 2016, he also served as a moderator for CNN’s Republican presidential primary debates in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Houston, Texas.
