Cheryl reunited with her bandmates Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts this year for a reunion tour of England, Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland from May to June.

The group decided to reform to mark their 20th anniversary and celebrate their late bandmate Sarah Harding, who died after battling breast cancer in 2021.

Bear’s rare appearance comes just months after fans were delighted to hear him make his radio debut, revealing he had inherited Cheryl’s Geordie accent.

In April, Perrie Edwards appeared on Greg James’ Breakfast Show on Radio 1, where she was asked to call her A-list friends to guess whether they were sitting or standing in one of the show’s popular game segments.

The former Little Mix star, 31, opted to call out her friend Cheryl after revealing the two speak regularly.

But after dialling the number, it was Bear who answered and asked: “Hi, who is it?”, while a beaming Perrie asked: “Is this Bear?”

“Yes,” he replied, before confirming that he was indeed sitting as Perrie cheered triumphantly, having guessed correctly.

Cheryl was very surprised and Greg revealed that they were broadcasting live on the radio.

He then joked: “Bear is saying ‘It’s my first time on the radio, everyone knows me now.'”

She then asked her son to wish Perrie good luck with her new music, which he sweetly repeated.

Fans loved hearing Bear’s voice and wrote to X: “This is so wholesome; OMG Cheryl just got called into Radio 1 and Bear picked up and he was so cute. He’s got a little Geordie accent.”

‘Aww Bear is so cute saying good luck Perrie in his music and listening to Cheryl talk too, my two girls from two favorite bands; it’s so sweet.’

Cheryl previously helped Bear sing Jingle Bells when they appeared on a special episode of Table Manners with Jessie Ware in 2020.

“Are you being cheeky?” the podcaster asked, to which Bear replied, “Yes!”

Cheryl was eager to show off her little one’s singing skills as the duo belted out the lyrics to Jingle Bells.

Asked if he would follow in his famous parents’ footsteps, the youngster sheepishly replied: “Hmmmm,” before being offered some hot chocolate by his grandmother, Joan Callaghan.

Earlier this year, Bear’s dad Liam, 30, posted a rare snap of his son on Instagram, sending his followers into a frenzy.

In the photo, the singer hid his son’s face as he showed the little boy a billboard in Leicester Square, London, advertising his new single Teardrops.

She captioned the adorable photo: “I wanna be on a billboard someday daddy.”

Fans immediately rushed to comment, unable to believe how quickly Bear had grown.

Effusively: ‘The bear has grown so much!; It can’t be that he’s a bear! I feel old; The bear is sooooo big; He’s so big!; Is he that big already?; He’s so big that he looks like he was born yesterday.’

In November, Cheryl previously revealed that Bear had realised that his parents are famous.

Speaking to British VogueShe explained that the youngster thinks it’s “cool” that his mom and dad are famous pop stars.

Asked if her son might appear on stage at some point during the tour, Cheryl said: ‘The problem is I want Bear to have a normal childhood.

“I don’t want people to recognise him on the street, but he noticed that I’m famous. The other day he said to me: ‘How lucky am I to have famous parents? ‘ “It doesn’t matter,” I said. “Yeah, but it’s great,” he replied.

Cheryl and Liam began dating in 2016, following her split from ex-husband Jean Fernandez-Versini, after meeting when he was a contestant on The X Factor and she was a judge.

They then welcomed Bear in March 2017, before announcing they had split in July of the following year.

Cheryl previously revealed she was considering using a sperm donor to have a second child, but later decided against it.

She said her attitude changed after the pandemic and now that there will be a greater age gap between her children.

She told MailOnline: ‘I was so hell-bent on having another one before because Bear was at that perfect age. I think if you have that age gap of a couple of years, you can still do things with them together where you’re both committed and both interested.

“Now that the pandemic has hit and there’s such a big age difference, and I’m a little bit older, I’m not so sure, honestly.”

She doesn’t rule out other methods of caring for children, though, saying, “Maybe adoption. I love babies and kids and I would do anything to help or have another one around, but it’s not that common anymore.”

‘Also during the pandemic process I looked around and thought that this world is a bit crazy. Is it a sensible idea to bring a soul into all this madness?’
