Cher's son Elijah Blue Allman, 48, was spotted drinking what appeared to be cocktails with an unknown blonde woman at popular Los Angeles restaurant Chateau Marmont while wearing a bizarre robe-style outfit.

Cher’s troubled son Elijah Blue Allman has been spotted again at the Chateau Marmont hotel with a woman who is not his wife, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.

Allman, 48, has been locked in a court battle with his famous mother over her bid to be named his conservator instead of his wife, British rocker Marieangela “Queeny” King, 36.

Now DailyMail.com has obtained exclusive photos showing Allman drinking what appeared to be cocktails with a mystery blonde woman at the Los Angeles hotspot where he was living last summer before his latest stint in rehab.

He was dressed in a strange garment-style robe.

Sources told DailyMail.com that the recovering drug addict checked into the $742-a-night hotel in early August with a friend.

A witness said: ‘Elijah is back and looking much better than he did last year at around the same time when he passed out on the pavement outside the hotel. He checked in with a friend and they each got a separate room.

“He’s been pretty low-key, except he looked like Sunset Jesus wearing long, different colored robes around the hotel.”

Sunset Jesus, whose real name was Kevin Lee Light, was a local eccentric who was famous for wandering around Los Angeles’s famous Sunset Boulevard dressed as Jesus until his death from pneumonia in 2018.

The source added: ‘Elijah spent most of his time at the pool chain-smoking with his friend. Every night at dusk his friend would drive him somewhere for a couple of hours.

‘And then, like clockwork, a blonde woman who looked to be in her thirties would come to visit Elijah around 7pm every night and stay until 10:30pm.’

A source close to King said she recently moved into a new apartment, but added that the status of her marriage is unclear and that the couple still spends time together.

Allman and King have been married for more than 11 years, but their relationship has long been stormy and the singer filed for divorce in 2021.

In January, the couple filed a motion to dismiss the request, but a judge denied their request on a technicality because of Cher’s ongoing efforts to be appointed conservator of her son.

That long-running saga has seen Cher, who is set to release a highly-anticipated memoir on November 19, accused by King of “kidnapping” Allman from a New York hotel room in November 2022 as the couple were trying to mend their marriage and then forcing their son into a harsh Mexican rehab.

Allman, who says he is sober, has objected to being forced to accept a conservatorship overseen by his mother and has called for the job to be given to King.

The mother and son were due to appear in court in Los Angeles on June 11, but postponed the hearing to participate in mediation sessions.

King and his famous mother-in-law have long had a frosty relationship with Cher, 77, and say she has been a “destructive presence” in his life, hampering his efforts to stay clean and sober.

The case is scheduled to return to court on September 13.

The bitter court fight, which began in December when Cher applied to become Allman’s temporary conservator, has proven particularly nasty with the 48-year-old criticising his mother, calling her “misguided” and “unfit” to oversee a conservatorship.

“I have seen her suffer from depression in the past and I do not believe she is capable of making appropriate decisions for my estate,” he said in court documents.

“I don’t need a guardianship. The only person who can save me from my demons is myself, and that’s precisely what I’m doing.”

Cher says her son’s past drug addiction and mental and physical health problems make him unable to manage the $120,000 a year he receives from a trust fund set up for him by his father, blues singer Greg Allman, who died in 2017.

The singing legend said she feared he would spend his $30,000 quarterly paycheck on drugs, putting his life in danger.

His request was initially rejected by Judge Jessica Uzcategui in January on the grounds that the star’s lawyers had failed to provide Allman with sufficient notice of the lawsuit and had refused to share confidential information with him.

However, Cher was given the green light to continue the legal fight, despite Allman’s objections and his preference for King’s appointment should a conservatorship be deemed necessary.

“My wife is entitled to priority,” Allman said in court filings. “Therefore, it is my understanding that Cher is no longer entitled to priority.”

King and his famous mother-in-law have long had a frosty relationship with Cher, who says she has been a “destructive presence” in Elijah’s life, hindering his efforts to stay clean and sober.

“Their tumultuous relationship has been marked by a cycle of drug addiction and mental health crises,” she said in court documents.

Cher claimed that King has not “supported Elijah’s recovery and… is actively working to prevent Elijah from getting clean and sober or receiving the mental health treatment he desperately needs.”

She said it “would be dangerous to Elijah and his estate” to assign King any control of the conservatorship, adding that it “would result in the immediate loss or dissipation of Elijah’s assets for self-destructive purposes.”

The couple also clashed over Cher’s decision to send her son to rehab in Mexico and King’s decision to personally travel to the country to get Allman out.

In court documents, she said: ‘My mother and I have had a strained relationship for years. For example, on October 17, 2023, my mother arranged for me to be brought to Mexico for what I was told was “holistic alternative therapy.”

‘Upon arriving in Mexico, I was told I was not there to receive holistic/alternative treatment and in fact was not allowed to leave.

‘It was my wife who hired a lawyer and negotiated my release from the institution in Mexico.

‘While I want to believe that my mother wants the best for me, I have personal knowledge that she does not manage her own finances.

“I therefore have serious concerns about whether this court will allow you to handle any of my affairs.”
