Celebrity SAS Who Dares Wins is reportedly set for a huge location change as Channel 4 continue their major shake-up due to money woes.
The extreme TV series has previously filmed in Vietnam, New Zealand and Jordan, but this year things will look very different for celebrities as they head to Wales.
The UK destination will be a far cheaper alternative for the channel instead of flying dozens of contestants and crew to the tropical destinations.
This was told by a TV insider The sun: ‘Belts have been tightened for a while on C4, which is in financial trouble at the moment.
‘So it’s no surprise that the current plan will see SAS Who Dares Wins stay in Wales this year – which will be much cheaper.

“Although it won’t be any less challenging for the participants – in fact, it can be tougher than some foreign climes.”
Channel 4 rejected the civilian version of the series over the celebrity spin-off because it got higher ratings.
Channel 4 told MailOnline: ‘SAS selection is the toughest selection procedure of any special forces regiment in the world, with the first stage always taking place in Wales – the home of SAS training.
‘The location of each series has been chosen to reflect each stage of real SAS selection, and with storm-swept Atlantic beaches to unforgiving mountain peaks, the Welsh wilderness where series one was filmed would push any celebrity recruit to their limits.’
Viewers usually see the star-studded lineup travel abroad to face a series of daunting challenges while overcoming their worst fears.
During the 2023 series, Gareth Gates was seen breaking down in tears as he won the series after completing the grueling training course.
Gareth beat fellow recruits Matt Hancock, 45, and Danielle Lloyd, 39, after the other sixteen celebs failed to make the final.
Channel 4, which receives its funding from advertising, recently warned MPs that the level of TV advertising has fallen dramatically amid a shift in viewing habits towards digital and streaming services.
It has already had to cancel a handful of shows including Steph’s Lunch Box, SAS: Who Dares Wins and cut back on the amount of episodes Hollyoaks produces in a bid to cut costs.
