Caleb Williams and his new Bears teammate Rome Odunze shared a touching moment during Thursday’s NFL Draft after the quarterback crashed the receiver’s media session.

Williams, who went No. 1 overall, was given a great passing weapon to work with when Odunze moved eight picks later to the Beats at No. 9.

And the quarterback was giddy when he met his new teammate for the first time, interrupting the former Washington star’s virtual news conference by walking up behind him, emphatically saying his name and letting out a scream.

The couple then shared a hug before exchanging some pleasantries.

‘It’s time baby!’ Williams said in a video posted on the Bears’ X account, before Odunze responded: ‘Let’s do it baby!’

Williams later took a more serious tone and said, “Let’s have fun doing it.” Hold each other accountable.”

Bears fans loved the clip and the initial chemistry Williams and Odunze showed.
