Britney Spears is said to have split from her boyfriend Paul Soliz three weeks ago over fears he was using her for clout.
According to sources, the singer, 42, is “not hurt by the split” and has found solace in spending time with her older brother Bryan, 47, who has moved into her sprawling mansion.
Britney, 42, shared and then deleted an Instagram post on Sunday night declaring herself “single as f**k,” in the wake of her split from her former housekeeper, who is also a father of nine.
A source said TMZ‘Britney and Paul split about 3 weeks ago, and broke up once the singer realized her former maintenance worker turned boyfriend was just using her for his lavish lifestyle.’
The source added that it was Britney’s decision to break up with Paul after seeing his “true colors” and the singer made it clear to her security guards that he is no longer on the entry list to her luxurious mansion.

Following the breakup, Britney has been spending time with her brother Bryan.
The brothers recently traveled to Las Vegas and Cabo, and Bryan reportedly moved into Britney’s house around the time she ended her relationship with Paul.
The source said Bryan didn’t move in because of the breakup, but had been living nearby and it made more sense to be under the same roof since they spent a lot of time together.
MailOnline has contacted Britney’s representative for comment.
Insiders claim another motivating factor in their split was Britney’s fears that the relationship could jeopardize her relationship with her own teenage sons, Sean Preston, 18, and Jayden, 17.
“She chose her children and their well-being over Paul,” a source exclusively told DailyMail.com. “They did not get along and in fact he did not treat her the way she deserved to be treated.”
‘He was nothing more than a disappointment and she recognises that. But she has regained contact with her children and that is the most important thing for her.
‘This has made her feel whole again and she has realized that in his absence she was looking for something or someone to fill the void, but no one can do it.’
Following the split, Britney has been spending time with her brother Bryan. The siblings have recently traveled to Las Vegas and Cabo, and Bryan is said to have moved into her home.
Britney recently revealed that she had communication with her children when she shared a photo of her brother, who was “fundamental” in helping them reunite.
Those close to the couple say another factor in their split was Britney’s fears that the relationship could jeopardise her relationship with her children (pictured with Sean Preston, 18, and Jayden, 17).
Paul was initially linked to Britney as a cleaner and handyman on her staff, but reportedly later became her lover, following her split from ex-husband Sam Asghari (pictured from 2019)
They concluded: ‘She also saw that Paul was an irresponsible father and that discouraged her greatly. But, above all, she knew that staying with him would only lead her down a dark path. Her story speaks for itself.’
On Sunday night, the Grammy-winning singer shared a photo on Instagram account The Random Vibez that read, ‘Her attitude is wild but her heart is gold.’
She captioned the photo: “Single as f**k!!! I will never be with another man in my entire life!!!”
He later deleted the statement, simply leaving the credit to The Randon Vibez.
Paul was initially linked to Britney as a janitor and maintenance man for her team, but he reportedly later became her lover following her split from ex-husband Sam Asghari, 30. The couple divorced in May.
Hours after the divorce was finalised, Paul was photographed alongside the singer as she was flanked by paramedics leaving the Chateau Marmont wearing nothing but a blanket and underwear while clutching a pillow, initially sparking fears for her mental health.
But now she appears to have put maintenance aside to devote herself to rebuilding her relationship with her children, whom she shares with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, 46.
“Britney has been talking and working on her relationship with Sean Preston and Jayden for months,” a source told DailyMail.com last month.
“The boys have a great love for their mother, just as she does for them. Things are back to normal and they are looking forward to their future together.”
Britney confirmed that things were back to normal on Instagram when she recently shared a photo of her brother Bryan.
“You look so elegant,” she wrote alongside the photo. “I sent it to my kids and I think they got jealous because they were like ‘that’s a filter… that’s not real.'”
