A Brisbane woman has been found dead after disappearing from a Queensland campsite.
The 21-year-old woman was last seen at the Inverramsay Road campsite in the Goomburra Valley, southwest of Brisbane, at 11.40pm on Thursday, wearing a pink jumpsuit and tracksuit bottoms.
After police were notified that he had not returned, a search and rescue operation was launched at around 2 a.m., which included an air and ground component.
The search resumed at dawn when the woman was found dead near the camp around 8 a.m. Friday.
Queensland Police said they would prepare a report for the coroner.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
