A Brentford fan has surprisingly kept a promise he made by getting a Neal Maupay tattoo.
The French striker left the Bees after they decided not to make his loan from Everton permanent.
He remains a favorite among Brentford fans, with one of them claiming he would get a tattoo chosen by Maupay if the striker responded to him in X.
Maupay did exactly that, urging the follower to get a tattoo that says “Maupay, you’re a cheater,” in reference to a claim made by AFTV regular Ty in 2020.
Brentford fan Lewis complied and even went a step further and also got Maupay’s Brentford shirt tattooed on his arm.

The 27-year-old was shocked when he posted: “Oh my god he really did it.”
He left Brentford having scored 49 goals in two spells with the west London club.
In an emotional video posted on X, Maupay said: “I’m going to miss the club, I can’t lie.” It’s a long story for me at Brentford. I arrived here when I was 20 years old, in 2017, I was a child and I didn’t know the club very well. I didn’t really know anything about English football.
“Here I am, seven years later, in the Premier League. I have played on some teams, but I have never received the love that I have here.
‘People always love me and appreciate me. They saw that I was a fighter on the field and that I would give everything for the shirt and the club.
“I think we immediately had that connection. I’m going to miss you, I’m a local and the good times I had here were absolutely incredible.
‘I wish everyone could experience that because it’s very special. “I have always tried to give my best for the fans and the club.”
