The former Doctor Who star, 41 (pictured on Friday), and the singer, 38, share a five-year-old daughter, Tallulah, who reportedly split after lockdown had a major impact on their relationship.
But the relationship ran its course and they decided they would be better off apart. Like many couples, lockdown was quite hard for them, so they have had time to really think about what they want their future to be like.
‘They will always treasure their time together and have many happy memories.
“They are now focusing on co-parenting their daughter and their separate careers.”
MailOnline has contacted Billie’s representatives for comment.
Former Doctor Who star Billie was previously married to DJ Chris Evans, 17 years her senior, and actor-turned-political activist Laurence Fox, 45, with whom she has two children.
Billie and Johnny welcomed daughter Tallulah in January 2019 after it was confirmed in July 2018 that Billie was expecting her first child with the rocker.
A source told the Mirror at the time: ‘Billie and Johnny are delighted. “They are eager to welcome the new addition to their family.”
She revealed that she would love to have more children in February 2018, admitting: “In my dream world I would have many.”

Billie and her ex met at the Boogaloo pub on London’s Archway Road in 2016.
Before adding: ‘I was one of four and it is exhausting for both parents and children. I like the idea of chaos.
In April 2019, Johnny revealed that much of his success was due to the support of Billie, who helped him reach the end of a sometimes bumpy journey.
When they met, the attraction was instant and mutual.
‘She challenged me. She kept asking me questions like: What is your five-year plan? Where are you heading musically? And her telling me that she had to account for everything I did,’ she stated.
‘I felt like my head was stuck in this way of thinking about the next job, the next tour, and I wanted to keep talking to her. Luckily she felt the same way about me.
‘She has improved my life in so many ways and I feel like I now know who I am, I know what I can do, I know where I want to be. And that’s with her.
Billie’s Instagram posts have been deleted since before September 2022, just a few months before the reported breakup.
Since then, none of the star’s publications have included Johnny and she has been heavily surrounded by her successful acting career.
Billie’s relationship with Johnny comes after her divorce from husband Laurence, which was finalized in November 2017.

The couple met when they performed together in the play Treats in 2006 and called it “love at first sight.”
They married on New Year’s Eve in West Sussex the following year and welcomed their two children in 2008 and 2012.
However, the acting couple confirmed that they were separating in March 2016 and were granted a decree-nisi.
Billie was previously married to radio host Chris Evans, whom she secretly married in 2001 at the age of 18, sparking controversy due to their sixteen-year age difference.
The couple divorced three years later in 2004, but have remained close friends ever since.
Before her first marriage, Piper also dated EastEnders star Danny Dyer after splitting from pop star Richie Neville.
As one of Doctor Who’s most famous assistants, fans also went wild when unconfirmed reports suggested that Piper and Doctor Who lead Matt Smith dated in 2006.
