Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were spotted together for the first time since filing for divorce, engaging in what appeared to be a tense conversation at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Saturday.
The Batman actor, 53, leaned in to talk to the Maid in Manhattan star, 55, while gesturing with his arms.
Later, as they sat in the car, Jennifer appeared to wipe away tears.
The exchange took place in front of some of their children: Ben’s kids with ex-wife Jennifer Garner (Violet, 18, Finn, 15, and Samuel, 12) and Jennifer’s 16-year-old twins, Emme and Max, with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
The reunion came hours after Ben was spotted giving his best friend Matt Damon’s wife Luciana a kiss, days after Damon was seen holding hands with the star’s ex Jennifer Lopez.

This comes just days after it was revealed that Jennifer and Leah Remini reportedly “recently reconnected” amid their respective divorces.
As they navigate the end of their marriages, the superstar, who filed for divorce from Ben last month on their second wedding anniversary, and the Kevin Can Wait star had a “long heart-to-heart.”
In August, Remini shocked the Internet after announcing that she and her longtime husband, Angelo Pagan, were divorcing after 21 years of marriage.
Lopez and Remini had initially feuded after she failed to show up for the singer’s wedding to Ben Affleck.
Adding fuel to the fire, Remini’s friend Michelle Visage also hinted that they were no longer friends when asked if they were best friends.
The duo was close for years until they were rumored to be splitting up in 2022.
In August 2022, Lopez and Affleck held a lavish wedding ceremony in Georgia, after saying “I do” in Las Vegas a month earlier.
Remini was notably absent from the nuptials, sources said TMZ that Remini did not make an appearance because she was spending time with her daughter, Sofia, who was about to leave for college.
Later, as they sat in their car, Jennifer appeared to wipe away tears.
Following news that Lopez and Affleck’s relationship was going through a rocky patch, a source told Page Six that Remini wanted to “reach out” but had no plans to say “I told you so.”
In late May, a source close to the outlet told the outlet that Remini had reached out to her and offered her support.
The couple met in 2004, while attending a red carpet premiere when Lopez was dating Marc Anthony. The couple married in June of that year, but divorced 10 years later in 2014, and have twins, Max and Emme, 16.
Lopez, who married Angelo Pagan in 2003, recalled crossing paths with Jennifer for the first time at the event while previously speaking to Entertainment Tonight in 2018.
“So, we went to the premiere expecting her to be ugly in real life,” she explained to the outlet.
“And then as I got closer to it, I was like, ‘I hope it’s the lighting. Maybe it just looks nice here,’ and as I got closer, I was like, ‘Oh damn, there’s so much light in here and it looks really pretty.'”
‘I said it too! I said, “Why the fuck? Why are you so fucking pretty?” And she laughed.
“So I was like, ‘Ugh, I hope she’s dumb,’ you know? I was like, ‘She could be dumb!’ I wanted to find something (wrong with her) and I didn’t find it…” Leah added.
And during a previous joint appearance on The View, the pair, who starred in the romantic comedy Second Act, also spoke openly about their friendship.
“We’re really close, like sisters, but in a different way than sisters are,” Leah shared on the show. We weekly.
Lopez also said, “We understand each other’s lives. We have similar lives and careers, and we understand nuances that other people don’t understand, so that brought us together as well.”
The mother of two also called the actress “brave, caring and generous,” while Remini chimed in to say Lopez was “loving, warm, fiercely loyal, courageous, true and authentic.”
