Nicole Eggert shaved her head in a new video shared with her more than 143,000 Instagram followers on Thursday amid her battle with breast cancer.
In the footage, the 52-year-old actress, who rose to fame as Summer Quinn in TV series Baywatch, could be seen bravely shaving off her pixie hairstyle.
She was apparently joined by one of her daughters, who stepped in towards the end to lend a hand with the razor.
Eggert smiled as she flashed her freshly shaved bald head to the camera as she sat in the middle of her living room.

“Perhaps healing involves not so much changing ourselves as allowing ourselves to be who we are,” Eggert wrote for the post, quoting Madeleine Eames.
The comments section was full of kind messages from her loved ones and fans, many of whom called her a ‘bada**’.
‘Sending you a big hug ❤’, actress Jennie Garth wrote under the post.
Meanwhile, Alyssa Milano wrote: ‘Grace. You have the most grace. It’s inspiring and I appreciate you.’
‘It’s crazy how amazingly beautiful you are! You rock that look!’ commented one fan.
Eggert first revealed that she had been diagnosed with a ‘very rare’ breast cancer in December 2023.
Last month, she told Inside Edition that doctors found more cancer in her lymph nodes.
Eggert said she is ‘kicking herself’ for not regularly checking her breasts, and said tissue from the breast implants she got at age 19 made it harder to detect any anomalies in her breast.

The star stated that after gaining about 25 pounds and feeling pain in her left breast in early October, she underwent a mammogram and three biopsies — which resulted in a diagnosis of stage 2 cribriform carcinoma breast cancer.
She said: ‘When I felt it my heart dropped and I was like oh my god. No one could take me, so I went to all the breast care centers. It’s terrifying, because every day and every minute that goes by, you know it’s growing.
Only a month later, a mammogram finally confirmed her fears – Eggert had stage 2 breast cancer.
She said: ‘My heart dropped, I lost all hearing, everything sank. It is called invasive cribriform carcinoma. It’s very rare”.
‘The quizzes, I tell you, I’m kicking myself. That’s the one thing I should have done.’
But, she says, tissue from her breast implants made self-exams difficult, saying: ‘If I didn’t have them and I had my smaller, natural breasts, I’m sure I would have felt it a lot sooner’ – before I felt the implants a ‘big mistake’.

Eggert – who is a mother of two daughters – told People in December: ‘This journey has been hard for me.’
“This has not been a smooth sailing through life,” the actress said, adding that she has focused on positivity. ‘I always read inspirational quotes and corny things, but this gets me through.’
Nicole revealed that her next steps are to have surgery to remove the cancer and also to undergo chemotherapy and radiation. The star added that it is currently unclear whether the cancer has spread.
Regarding the lump, she explained: ‘I can definitely feel it. It is there. It must be taken out. So it’s just a matter of whether I have to do treatment before the operation or can they do the operation and then I do the treatment after.’
Eggert got candid about the difficulty of waiting, expressing, ‘I’m panicking where I am, just get this out of me.’
‘You’re sitting there and it’s inside you and you’re like, every second that goes by and it’s inside me. It grows and you’re like, you just want it out’.
Nicole, who is mum to daughters Dilyn, 25, and Keegan, 12, admitted her ‘biggest fear’ is no longer being there for her children.

She explained that while Dilyn is ‘adult’, the actress also has ‘a 12-year-old at home where I am the sole carer. I have no family. I have nothing.’
Recalling the moment she told her children about her breast cancer diagnosis, the Blown Away actress recalled the ‘horror’ on Keegan’s face.
‘It immediately made me realize there’s just no way to give in to this. It’s something I have to go through. It’s something I have to beat. She needs me more than anything and anyone.’
The star – who is a single mother – told People that financially it has not been easy.

‘My fear is that my everyday hustle, everything I do to keep everything going, is going to stop when I’m not well or I’m sick or I’m in the hospital or whatever happens. ‘
Nicole continued: ‘It’s just so overwhelming and I’m just doing everything I can not to spiral.’
‘At night, when I lie down, I panic because I think, “Well, who’s going to cover all the bills? Who’s going to do all this?”‘
Eggert’s close friend, Mindy Molinary, has created one GoFundMe for Nicole to help the star with finances as her health battle begins.
The actress has shared a link to the page on her social media accounts, including Instagram.
