When asked about the advice he would have given his younger self when starting out in the industry, MacDowell admitted it was a “tough question because life is what happens to you.”

‘I told them to watch movies and know what they liked. I still think it’s good advice,” he continued.
“I think the key is to keep studying, take classes, grow, be flexible and realize that there is always something new to learn.”
