Patrick Brammall, Harriet Dyer, Helen Thomson, Kate Box, Nina Oyama, Kitty Flanagan, Julia Zemiro and Celeste Barber have been nominated for the newly introduced award for Best Performance in a Comedy.
The 13th edition of the awards will also feature the presence of renowned American film director and producer Ron Howard.
