The 78-year-old former president survived the assassination attempt when the bullet missed him by less than an inch on Saturday afternoon at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Ridiculous conspiracy theories about the attempted murder have emerged online, including from HBO’s Insecure actress Amanda Seales, who posted a video claiming the attack was staged.
“That shit was more staged than a Tyler Perry production of Madea Runs for President,” Seales said.

Video captured the horrific moment the shooter opened fire and the 78-year-old fell to the ground, before four Secret Service agents rushed the stage and pounced on the former president.
Shocking images showed Trump cowering on the ground as officers protected him, blood dripping down his cheek.
“Where did the blood come from? In theaters and movies, there are what are called blood pellets. People use them for Halloween,” Seales said.
‘It’s basically a little ball of fake blood that sits in your mouth and when you squash it, blood comes out.
‘To be frank, Trump’s little hands would not respond by raising his fist in the air in triumph if there was a real attempt on his life.
“I think this was done to try to show his strength in the face of Biden’s fragility.”

A staffer for a Democratic congressman from Mississippi has been fired after she took to social media and said she wished the shooter had better aim.
Jacqueline Marsaw, 61, field director for Mississippi Congressman Bennie G. Thompson, shared a vile Facebook post about the attack.
She shared: ‘I don’t condone violence, but please take some shooting lessons so you don’t get lost next time. Oops, I wasn’t the one who spoke.’
Marsaw, president and vice president of the local NAACP in Natchez, Mississippi, drew the attention of Republicans across the country. She has since deleted the post and her account, but screenshots have been reposted on social media.
She has since been fired from her position. “I became aware of a post made by a staff member and she is no longer in my employ,” Thompson said.
