A big star of 1990s TV looked almost unrecognisable in a rare appearance on Australian screens this week.
The famous American actress appeared on Channel Nine’s Today Extra on Tuesday to nostalgically recall her most famous role in a world-famous drama.
Speaking to hosts Belinda Russell and Tim Davies, she looked strikingly different from her 90s heyday as she discussed her successful TV career.
The 43-year-old was known for her striking bangs, but sported a new look for her TV appearance.
After ditching her bold fringe, she also showed off her dark brown hair, having gone blonde in the years since she rose to fame on TV.

The actress is possibly best known for her role as Lucy Camden on 7th Heaven, appearing in 242 episodes of the popular drama from 1996 to 2007.
It is noteworthy that she starred in the show alongside Hollywood star Jessica Biel, who took on the lead role of Mary Camden.
The hit series followed a reverend, played by disgraced actor Stephen Collins, and his wife as they navigated the ups and downs of raising their five children in California.
Beverley is also recognized for her role in the television show The Secret Life of the American Teenager, as well as the major films Saw II and Right on Track.
Most recently, Beverley has starred in her own reality show called Keeping it Real, as well as the 2018 horror film Blood Pageant and a series of Christmas films.
Beverley got nostalgic during her interview with Today Extra while discussing her upcoming appearance at 90s Con in Daytona Beach.
She will reunite with her 7th Heaven castmates at the fan convention and reflect on her days on the American family drama during the chat.
Beverley described her 7th Heaven co-stars as “family” and said it’s always a joy to spend time with them at fan events.
“It’s good to be back with family, the television family at these conventions,” he shared.

Beverley now hosts a podcast with her co-stars David Gallagher and Mackenzie Rosman (pictured right with Beverley and Jessica) where they rewatch scenes from the show.
“It’s so much fun, we love each other so much and it’s a great excuse to hang out together. It’s magical because we get to meet the fans and it’s been really rewarding to see how many lives we’ve touched.”
“I actually feel like they’re giving us a gift. They think we’re the gift for coming to see them, no, they’re so kind.”
While 7th Heaven ran for 11 seasons, Beverley admitted she couldn’t have predicted its popularity, saying they thought it would be cancelled once or twice.
“It was really hard to predict what the impact of our program would be. We were kind of a little engine that could… Nobody really expected us to keep going,” he said.
‘But still, we kept going and going and I was like, I’m extremely loyal, so I was going to stay on that show and do every episode until we were done.
“But there were a lot of years where we were like, ‘Oh, I guess it’s time,’ and then we came back another year. It was a bit of a shock to get to 11th place.”
More recently, Beverley (pictured in 2023) has starred in her own reality show called Keeping it Real, as well as the 2018 horror film Blood Pageant and a series of Christmas movies.
Beverley has reunited with her co-stars David Gallagher and Mackenzie Rosman to host a podcast, where they rewatch their iconic scenes from the 90s show.
David played Simon Camden on 7th Heaven, while Mackenzie played Ruthie Camden on the long-running The WB series.
Beverley admitted they were apprehensive about rewatching their scenes on the show, but said it allowed them to become fans of the series for the first time.
“It’s funny because we were very hesitant, we wanted to do the podcast and originally it was just us talking about stories, and then the fans wanted it to be a rerun,” he said.
‘We were all a little bit scared because we were like, “Oh my God, this is going to be so awkward and weird.” But it’s actually been the opposite, it’s made us fall in love with it and appreciate it on a whole new level.
Beverley said they were too young when the show first aired on screens to appreciate its popularity and influence, but have now grown to love it.
