Erin Moriarty’s return to television screens has rekindled the debate over whether or not she has undergone cosmetic surgery.

Many fans are speculating that the 30-year-old ‘Starlight’ actress, who plays a superheroine on Amazon’s ‘The Boys,’ has had some work done, and say the continued comments about it were ‘very… revealing.’

Now, DailyMail.com has spoken to three plastic surgeons who agreed the star was beautiful but had probably had some procedure done.

The surgeons, who did not listen to the comments of the others, said that she had had surgery on her nose and noted that her nasal bridge was smoother and the tip more pointed.

Each also suggested she had had fillers in her cheeks and lips and Botox in her forehead, and two of them also suggested she might have had a brow lift.

In response, Moriarty said that the image of the

In response, Moriarty said the “before” picture was taken a decade ago and that her change in appearance was solely due to “contouring.”

Overall, they suggested she had spent between $50,000 and $100,000, saying it had given her a more angular, heart-shaped face, compared to the “girlish” and “girl next door” look she had before.

Ms Moriarty has previously denied having plastic surgery, saying it was “just contouring”.

She has also slammed anyone suggesting she has undergone procedures, calling them “misogynists” and “bully” who were making “false” accusations. In an Instagram post published yesterday, she added the caption “haters gonna hate.”

Many have previously urged celebrities to come clean about plastic surgery to help set realistic beauty expectations for young women and those concerned about their appearance.

Experts also say that this helps build and promote trust and honesty between celebrities and the public.

Dr Deniz Sarhaddi, a Missouri plastic surgeon who specialises in facial enhancements, told DailyMail.com she believed Moriarty had undergone surgery.

“The easiest operation to perform here is rhinoplasty (nose surgery),” he said.

Surgeons say the tip is more refined and the top of the nose has become more stylized: there is no longer any bump there like in previous photos.

“Typically, people don’t age over time and don’t have bigger cheekbones or a more defined jawline, which is why I suggest using fillers,” she added.

‘She also doesn’t have any fine lines on her forehead, so it looks like she’s had a brow lift – a lot of celebrities, like Ariana Grande, have had it done, I’d bet my money on it.

‘It’s a very stealthy procedure because the scars are only an inch long and behind the hairline, but it helps minimize those lines.

‘She also has filler in her lips, and may have had buccal fat reduction surgery on her lower cheeks, although that line could use some contouring as well.’

New York City plastic surgeon Dr. Elie Levine agreed, saying, “She’s definitely had some type of rhinoplasty, her cheeks have definitely been augmented (could be filler or implants), her lips look a lot fuller as well.”

She added: ‘She is ten years older and yet the position of her eyebrows looks as good as they did a decade ago, something we wouldn’t naturally see, so it’s possible she has had a brow lift.

Dr. Gary Linkov, a plastic surgeon also in New York City, agreed with the other two surgeons’ assessments.

However, he suggested she may have had bleteroplasty (or reduction of the skin over the eyes) and said they suddenly seemed more open.

However, other surgeons disagreed, saying this procedure would normally be reserved for older people, usually around 40.

Surgeons said the change in her facial appearance had likely caused so much speculation online because she looked “radically different”.

Dr Sarhaddi said: ‘She is beautiful in both photos, but the first one (from 2013) has a very different aesthetic to the second one.

‘In the later images she looks a bit more exaggerated, the cheeks are super high and sunken, for example, there is a change in proportions.’

Dr Levine added: ‘If you look at her at 19, I would say I wouldn’t describe her as striking so much as pretty and attractive with a youthful look; she’s very much like the girl next door.

‘But if you look at it now, it’s very austere, with sharp lines, sharp angles, it’s striking but not particularly warm.

‘Your new look may not always appear pretty to a large number of people, as your previous look did.’

Controversy erupted around the star’s appearance in January after she received a series of nasty comments.

These surfaced online with commentator Megyn Kelly accusing her of having “Kim Kardashian lips” and describing her appearance as “quite disturbing, it’s a huge turn-off for me”.

Moriarty was quick to respond, accusing the journalist of being “totally misinformed, inaccurate and wanting to lure users.” He also accused her of “bullying.”

She took a break from Instagram for a while and only returned after saying she had received messages from other women who had had a similar experience of people commenting on their appearance.
