From July, Natural Confectionery Co. will begin supplying Australian retailers with bags of slippery snakes that contain 50 per cent less sugar.

The Australian-made jellies containing no artificial colours, flavors or sweeteners will be available in five delicious flavors including raspberry, blackcurrant, blackberry, mango and lime.

The new product range contains half less sugar compared to the average amount of sugar at other outlets, meeting demand for low-sugar snack options.

Mondelez International vice president of marketing for Australia and New Zealand, Ben Wicks, said they were excited to expand the range with the introduction of an all-time Australian favourite.

“This product makes one of Australia’s best-loved popsicles a better-for-you option, responding to growing consumer interest in popsicles that are low in sugar and still taste great,” he said.

New Natural Confectionery Co.’s Snakes candies with 50% less sugar* will be available in supermarkets nationwide starting in July for approximately $5.
