Los Angeles recorded a 4.7 magnitude earthquake on Monday near Highland Park, authorities said.

The earthquake struck about two miles southwest of Pasadena.

This comes after the city was hit by a 5.2 magnitude earthquake last Tuesday, the strongest to hit the state this year.

That earthquake was felt at Dodger Stadium in the middle of the seventh inning of a baseball game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Philadelphia Phillies, but the quake did not elicit any noticeable reaction from the crowd.
