Four people, including a nine-year-old boy, have died in a horror crash on a country road.

The fatal accident occurred early Friday morning in Clackline, about 80 kilometers northeast of Perth.

Three men, aged 45, 19 and 21, and the youth, were heading east on the Great Eastern Highway in a silver Nissan Navara ute when it left the road and crashed into a tree at around 12.30am, reported. Western Australia.

It is understood the four dead suffered catastrophic injuries at the scene and could not be saved.

The state transport agency, Main Road WA, urged motorists to take extra care near Eadine Road.

Investigators have urged anyone who may have seen the van driving in the area before the crash or anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
