Rebecca Ferguson has revealed that her story about an unnamed co-star ‘yelling at her’ caused anxiety among her former co-stars, as media and fans struggled to guess who she was talking about.

The Dune: Part Two actress, 40, who was spotted grabbing coffee last month, said several previous co-stars called her after she shared her experience in February.

While appearing on the SiriusXM show The Jess Cagle ShowFerguson admitted that he did not expect his comments to cause such a stir.

Her opening anecdote called an actor “absolutely an idiot” who yelled at her, prompting her to leave the set in tears.

Afterwards, Rebecca said, “I’ve gotten phone calls from amazing co-stars that I’ve worked with and they’re like, ‘You understand what you’ve done, right?'”

The star added: “And I was like, ‘Oh my God. No, I didn’t think about it.'”

But upon further reflection, Rebecca pointed out that it is not her duty to protect celebrities from scrutiny.

She said: ‘I mean, to be honest, it’s not my responsibility. I really do not care.

‘You know, ‘You’re great, but my story is my story, and if you’re a good person, then don’t worry.’

Recalling the attention his story received, he explained: ‘Number one, yeah, I kind of enjoyed the capture.

“But what I realized even at the age I am now (21 years old) is that it doesn’t matter. I definitely think I’m a lot more open.

‘I also know where my limits are. But the goal of the interview was not to find the person; Of course, people will be interested.

“But I was excited by the question, which was a very good question [Josh Smith]. Because the point was: Is there a time in your career where you were treated in a way that changed your decision (that’s how I phrased it myself) where you want a change or you won’t accept it?

“And it was a very clear moment for me to work with this person.”

In his original statement, he recalled: “I made a movie with an absolutely idiotic co-star, no matter who it is.”

“I’m going to try not to give this away, but I remember there was a moment where this human being was very insecure and angry because he couldn’t do the scenes. And I think he was so vulnerable and uncomfortable that they yelled at me.”

He said that “because this person was number one on the call sheet, there was no safety net” for her.

So no one supported me. And I would cry when I left the set,” Ferguson added. “This person was literally looking at me in front of the entire crew and saying, ‘You call yourself an actor?’ Is this what I have to work with? What is this?’ And I stood there, devastated.’

Ferguson previously confirmed that the person he spoke about was not Hugh Jackman or Tom Cruise.
