Travis and Jason Kelce were forced to move Thursday night’s New Heights live show indoors, citing safety concerns due to thunderstorms scheduled to hit Ohio.
The NFL brothers had to make the announcement Wednesday afternoon, but very quickly made a joke out of a non-ideal late change, with a little help from Jason’s wife, Kylie.
In a statement posted to the New Heights social media channel, the Kelce brothers joked that “the inmate who forgot to check the weather app has been reassigned.”
Kylie Kelce commented under the post: “Plot twist…Jason Kelce is the intern.”
The New Heights account responded to Kylie saying that Jason must now get the new cat she has repeatedly said she wants as punishment; Jason has made no secret that he doesn’t want a cat.

Jason’s wife, Kylie, joked that her husband is to blame for the bad weather causing problems.
On the show, Travis and Jason will perform their hit podcast in front of a live audience of thousands in their home state on Thursday night.
It was initially planned to take place at Nippert Stadium, but will now take place at the Fifth Third Arena indoor arena, with doors open starting at 5 p.m. for fans who have purchased a ticket.
Travis and Jason have recruited two top Cincinnati Bengals stars: quarterback Joe Burrow and offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr to the program.
The podcast reached new levels of popularity during the last NFL season when news broke that Kansas City Chiefs star Travis was dating Taylor Swift.
For the most part, Kelce has kept his cards close to his chest about life dating the most famous person in the world, but he’s not averse to the occasional update, prompting thousands of Swifties to tune in to what is primarily a show about football.
It would be a big surprise if Swift appeared on Thursday night, but the singer is on a short break between dates on her successful Eras Tour, which resumes in early May in Europe.
