The company’s Grand Floridian Resort in Orlando, Florida, is home to the AAA Five-Diamond-rated Victoria & Albert’s restaurant, with the maximum five stars awarded for its food, service and décor.

In an attempt to see what all the fuss is about, Kristen Wright, YouTube creator I managed to get a seat at the fancy restaurant by booking 60 days in advance.

After settling into her table with a group of friends, Kristen begins filming her multi-course meal, course by course.

Two of her friends also opt for the chef’s tasting menu, so she can try all the creations he offers.

For the second course, Kristen said she was presented with “technically two dishes,” one of which was a hot portion of Norwegian king crab in hollandaise sauce and the other was a cold portion of crab in what “tasted almost like pesto butter.” “. ‘

The third course was a memorable bite, when Kristen tried sea urchin (uni) for the first time. She said it came with a “pasta in cream sauce”.

The final course on the seven-course tasting menu was Rocky Mountain lamb, served with Sicilian pistachio, leeks and olives.

Kristen said: ‘TThe lamb was so tender and buttery that it literally melted in your mouth. The lamb was one of our collective favorite parts of the meal.

‘Personally I always love lamb chops (but) I have never served them like this. “I definitely really enjoyed this dish.”

While Kristen finished her main savory dishes, her two friends ate their last meat dish, which consisted of two perfectly cooked pieces of Japanese Wagyu beef.

After taking a bite, Kristen called the steak “phenomenal.”

Unfortunately, the meal was slightly let down by Kristen’s next dish, which included a selection of different cheeses.

Despite being a cheese lover, Kristen said she ended up giving the dish away.

“This was the only course I really didn’t like,” he reflected.

While Kristen finished her main savory dishes, her two friends ate their last meat dish, which consisted of two perfectly cooked pieces of Japanese Wagyu beef.

Overall, Kristen said her dinner at Victoria and Albert’s was good, but she wasn’t impressed.

‘I expected to be impressed with every bite I took. I don’t know if I just went in with unrealistic expectations, but those are my honest comments.

‘TOAnother thing I want to say about food is that practically all of us are left hungry. I know a couple of us thought: Should we go to McDonald’s?

“I’m not sure if it’s because maybe the food took More than expected… (It was) like a six-hour meal.’

Despite her qualms, Kristen recommends Victoria & Albert’s as it offers a “unique, one-of-a-kind experience.”

He also says the level of service was “top notch” throughout and a major reason to return.
